Super cute layout Terry!! You know, having fun in the kitchen as a kid means he'll probably enjoy cooking as an adult! He's going to have a very happy wife some day! Some day way waaaaay in the future (don't want to make him grow up faster than he's going to already! LOL)

I'm still here but am fading fast. I'll probably wait until the last challenge is posted and then head for bed. I'm sure DGS will be up early since it's a weekend. I did tell him after prayers that be sure to get up early since tomorrow was a school day (he usually tries to sleep late on THOSE days) but I don't think he believed me about the school thing....????

I see you gals are VERY north (Alaska & Minnesota). I'm here in OH and whining about a weather alert for S**W possibilities....LOL! :rolleyes: It does make for some good scrappin' time when the weather is inclement out though...

We had a few inches last week, and the Hubs is hoping for more this week since he'll be out hunting for the next 9 days! We have a big wood stove in the basement, so it can get as cold and icky as it wants to outside, I'm nice and warm!

Lots of chatter going on here. I remembered that it was VSBN time...but not till after 10:00. So I hopped on here and this was the first challenge I stumbled across so I just did it! Great challenge Charlsanne! So creative!
I am so thrilled so many played my challenge, the pages I have seen are fantastic, everyone is so creative, I can't wait to see what the hosts have in store for us today!!!

Sorry....I hadn't thought about it that way! :( He hadn't believed me anyway and knew I was kidding with him. He was up before 7 a.m. this morning and finally booted me out of bed about 1/2 hr later.
Now he's sitting watching me read the posts from last night with Kids Bop 18 blaring on this computer and he's got his Ipod and earphones on singing at the top of his lungs and it's only 9 a.m.!
Just giving you a hard time Terry... although someday he will "call" you on it... I do wonder if God's ok with us telling those little white lies to our kiddos in the interest of having them get a good rest. My 3 yr old argues about bed/naptime and I tell him he needs his rest to grow... He sometimes responds that God told him that he doesn't need to take a nap. He also tells my husband that God told him they need to go shopping and buy some candy....:rolleyes:

Too funny! It's so cute the things they come up with sometimes but then you have to wonder......
Great challenge, Charlsanne! This really made me think outside of the box. So far, in fact, that I don't exactly qualify for the challenge but was so excited with my page(s) that I had to share. I would have never thought of this on my own! I had all of these scuba diving pictures from a recent trip and they were all so 'blue'. When you go diving deeper than 50 - 60 feet, all the colors wash out (except a little yellow) and you are left with very monochromatic pictures. So instead of b/w, I have blue and white, with touches of black. Also, I found a wonderful layout to case by Cheryl (motherload) here: Even More Scrapping!: Christmas Party Layout LOVE her work. Anywho, here is my page:
