We all have angels in our lives that have influenced who we are today. True earthly angels possess many qualities...they may be here to help us along our life's journey, they may stay for a short time and serve their purpose, or they may be a life-long friend or a family member that you are close to. Remember angels are not only female but male as well. SO think about who has been a huge influence in your life...whether it be the tiniest angel or the most influential angel that helped you many times over. This can a be anyone that has truly been an "angel" to you.
The Challenge: Create a page (photo or poem is ok) about an "angel" that has influenced your life.
Now for some fun...add the "dressed up" factor to your page. Dress up your page with embellishments or other items...whatever it takes to make it fabulous- maybe black and white, glitter or other cool glamour items. Whatever "dressed up" (as in Dressed to the Nines) means to you then tell us when you upload or share in the thread your technique for "dressing up" your page and who is your "angel".
A little bonus: Use a photo of your "angel" all dressed up or use angels on your page.

UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To be considered for VSBN Recognition, ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON SUNDAY, November 14.
2. You have 3 hours to complete the challenge (each challenge theoretically produces one page per hour). For contest purposes, 1 upload per participant per challenge will be eligible to earn award/recognition. For example: if you complete 3 indivdual pages for this challenge, and upload each of them to the gallery you can only win one award/recognition for only one of your pages; the other two are part of the gallery to share but cannot win any award/recognition. If you upload a double page spread as one upload, it will be considered one upload; please do not upload the pages individually or they will not be considered a double page spread. It is the VSBN Challenge Host's decision to award/recognize pages that best represent her challenge based on the criteria in the challenge. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted his/her challenge in your Upload Description.
3. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD: NOV10VSBNE, when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.

It seems that Tracy may have gotten the time difference mixed up so she's running late. Unfortunately she did not leave us with a sample page but you are all such creative ladies I'm sure you'll do fine without it :-) I can't wait to see what you come up with!!! I'm sure when Tracy gets on-line she'll post her sample page. In the meantime you can stop by and chat with Rachel (MsRabbott) and I :-)

I know exactly which picture I want to do but it will probably have to wait a bit, need to take out of frame and scan in, as soon as I saw this challenge I knew it would be perfect on my angel to share

I LOVE this challenge! It really made me think about people in my life I've never scrapped about before, especially people I don't have photos of but that definately touched my life. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
I was thinking along those lines too. I actually just found my sorority pledge book and some old photos...was thinking about those photos but they need to be restored...thinking cap still on :-)
ok picture scanned in, now to figure out how to do this page properly without crying the entire time, will take a while since I am still tending to the girls, and hubby in the basement!!

I could maybe scan a picture of my grandmother. She raised me for 5 years before my dad remarried and we shared a farmhouse with her for another 3 years before he built a house around the corner on the farm and moved. She was definitely a positive influence in my life and was the one person that I never doubted the love she had for me. I'll have to see if I can find a good picture of her to use.
DGS just got done eating "4" legs of broasted chicken...it's that hollow leg of his, you know!
Yep I just scanned in a pic of my grandmother, inbetween making cheese toast and other things, But hoping to get this page done before I post my challenge, since I want to do another copy of my first page but using Chris' parents instead of mine

trying... I ended having to go into work today, so I am getting a late start on the 80 Wedding cookies I have to make for a Bridal shower tomorrow. BUt I thought I would chat in between baking cycles. I miss chatting with everyone...
oh Anavon - you will have to post a picture of those cookies, it's a good excuse for not scrapping tonight, but hope you can continue to chat!!

Speaking of angels...mine just came stomping and bouncing down the stairs from his bath. That Halloween candy is still in effect....Can't wait until he goes to bed!

SO how's it going ladies...I hope you are enjoying the challenge so sorry for the mixup about the time.
Funny thing is I have been early all day today...even had everything ready and was waiting on my friend who normally waits on me. Got a ride to work this morning with a coworker who is normally leaps and bounds earlier than me- I waited for his arrival. ALL DAY I was on time and early and that NEVER happens. Should have known something was gonna happen! It was too good to be true! LOL

Well Ladies!!! I just finished up my second challenge and I need to get up at 6:15 AM...so I'm off to bed. Did all digi pages today! I won't be here tomorrow, a Lacrosse game in the early AM and then off to Universal to meet up with one of my sorority sister's who I haven't seen since my wedding day...I'm sooooooo excited!!! Lela's being a great sport and filling in for me tomorrow :-) Have fun ya'll...I'm bummed it was this weekend she came down but will be taking tons of photos to work on these challenges :-)
