Oh, wow! I am late at finding this from this weekend. Is it too late to join? I love the challenge Erika...hopefully I will find some time to do this one and the others. I love your journaling tips, really puts journaling in a whole new light when you view it as a conversation. I also love to use my own handwriting on my pages, just a piece of me (in a sense) to preserve for my posterity
Here is my entry for this challenge. I'm definitely challenged to journal about anything that includes "me" but hopefully this will be the start to break me out of the shell! TFL
I had a tough time getting this done because the journaling really "got to me". I thought I was just having a "Mom Moment" but when my DH read it, he had tears in his eyes too! Our baby is growing up, LOL!
Thanks Erika for the GREAT Journaling tips. It really made this page memorable for us!
Thanks for hosting this Erika; great sketch. I wanted to do the photo montage, so I layered them onto a larger layer. I hope I didn't go too far from it.
this was a perfect opportunity for me to use these pictures. My 6 year old granddaughter loves to write and practice her words. I am going to scan the page from her journal and put it on here. It will be a nice way for her to remember what she wrote on that day. I am not comfortable using stamps on my layouts so it was a challenge for me. I don't have alot of variety, need to do something about that. Thanks for a perfect challenge. I was able to do 5 layouts, something I haven't done in years. Maybe I am back on track now.
Amazing how much time I don't have to scrapbook! This was actually done and waiting to have it's picture taken for three days, but I don't even have the time to do that! My last challenge I was going to do has been laying on the table waiting to be glued for two days! But I can get this one in, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the challenge, it really made me think!
