Wow. Your page is beautiful. I've never distressed anything so if I decide to give this a try, it will certainly be a challenge! Still working on the first one since I started kind of late this evening....
UGH!!! So I finally get everything drug out (while listening to DH complain that it shouldn't take so much stuff to do a layout) and spread on the table, then everyone decides they want some dessert and I have to get it!!! SHEESH!!!

Okay, apparently that was the 2nd challenge and I just found Salster's Sketch Challenge.....will get on that. I'm confused with all the threads.....be patient, I'm new to the VSBN thing! :-)

Hi ladies-I'm finally home too! I think I caught Anavon's illness-IS that possible-just in the last hour or so-sore throat, yucky feeling:( OH well-off to look for some of those pics of those I LOVE!! and to distress--wahoooo

Oh Valerie.....hope it's just a passing thing for you and you'll feel better in the morning!!! Maybe get to the doc and get some antibiotics.....strep is going around with that sore throat in my neck o' the woods!

Well, there are a couple. The lovely one is taken by us on field day in the hallway. The other is at your bachelorette party. You are laughing very hard.
Dessert is mini chocolate tortes with warm gooey chocolate filling, yum.

I do the same stuff as for my girl......but grunge the heck out of almost everything, or distress it quite roughly! ;-) My personal rule: use what you love....and then ink it with chocolate chip or greys....I've discovered that even a 10 years old boy won't mind too much that there are grungey crochet flowers on his page!!!
My sons will always tell me though that they can tell when I've done one of the Challenges here...because I'll add flowers or bling or something usually in the challenge that I don't normally add, LOL! They're getting used to it but at first...they did NOT like the flower challenges! :rolleyes:

Lemme see if I have some of my ds' pages around here... If I remember, I pretty much used all earth tones on his pages. But what I found was, if he knows it was done out of love, he won't care too much about the colors.

I've been known to throw in a heart or something pink just to see if DS1 is paying attention to the details on his pages! mwa ha ha ha haaaaa ;)

This one was really a stretch for me, I don't like distressing on cards or scrap pages, it seems so 'against the rules' to me. As hard as it was to do, I really like how my page turned out.

Dang, that's the second time it jumped through the computer this week! So sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I hope the scrapping takes your mind off it.
