Just figured out I have the rest of the week. I absolutely love this it is my first VSBN and what a great motivator for me to get a page done in an hour! I really can do this! Thanks for all the wonderful hostesses who help and those of you with the sketches your amazing!
Getting supah excited for our weekend...canna wait! So glad I do digi scrappin because the world is at my finger tips, pictures, papers, embellishments, I am only limited by my search engine, lol.
I got into photography this summer so I have some better pictures to choose from, really excited to step up the focus of my pages. To me the pictures tell the story. Giddy with excitement!!!

I'm looking forward to it but then anything is better than this past weekend. Everyone in the Tinsley household was sick with major colds/head stuff. My oldest dd whose life revolves around dance even skipped classes Saturday because she was sick. I think we are all feeling better now though. I've got to get in my craft room and clean it up. I also have a scrapbook retreat the following weekend. woo hoo!

So Michele, I too hope this next weekend is better, although hubby's dad will be back probably with grandma to keep working on the basement, so who knows how upside down things will be!

I don't know which I would rather have, the 24 hour bug or the head colds. The head colds do tend to linger though. Right now it sounds like a TB ward at our house. My oldest dd didn't get much of it. just a stuffy head and her ears are clogged up. I've always said she got all my immunity when I was carrying her and didn't leave any for later siblings.
Aw...poor Charlsanne & Michelle! I hope everyone feels better for this weekend! I'm getting excited to get some of my own pages done! I may not be around Saturday like I thought, my sorority sis is in town with her son and we may be meeting up at Universal...haven't heard from her lately so who knows; we haven't seen each other since my wedding 18.5 years ago! Lela has graciously offered to step in for me. Gosh, we rarely get visitors but when we do it always seems to be when I've made plans :rolleyes: Sleep was elusive last night so I'm off to get some rest but I hope to be able to do the mini challenges tonight.
Michele it's a toss up, but let me tell as long as Maci doesn't get the head cold like Maddy and I have, then I will stick with those, way better than praying to the porcelain god for 24 hours and having all 4 of us go through ti!!

I will be gone all day Friday and Saturday. So, I might miss this one. But if I get to do the challenges, I have a question. I don't do the digit or whatever stuff. So, could I still take part in those particular challenges? I am new to the VSBNs or any of the Scrapbook challenges. I have read the bi monthly sketch ones, but not sure how to do them.

All digi challenges are open to paper scrappers too. Believe me, I came up with the digi challenge so it SUPER EASY!!! My knowledge of terminology is very small ;-)

Yes, all digi challenges can be done by paper and all paper challenges can be done digi...so no worries! The challenges for recognition aren't due until November 14, so plenty of time even if you can't be there Friday or Saturday.

hey there! checking in here. I don't know if I'll get to participate as the challenges are posted. I've said I would make a set of 20 Christmas cards with decorative box and a variety set of cards with decorative box for a silent auction that is in 1 week. yikes! My craft table is still buried and I've got to pack everything for a scrapbook retreat next weekend! I'll be popping in though.

I am hoping it get a chance to play tomorrow night, I have the night free. But I have to fill an order of 80 wedding cookies for a bridal shower on Saturday. So maybe...
Someone needs to tell the powers to be to put the info on there today!
I know Lela did and I did yesterday and resent today, it may just have gotten overlooked...hopefully we'll see it soon. I am suppose to have a house full of teenagers here by 2:30 so I need to get the laundry done, my house back together from the Halloween Party, and guess teenagers need food ~ so off to the grocery store I go. I'm hoping to get the mini vsbn challenges done while they do their stuff. It's homecoming and they are putting together their float items...should be interesting DD1 is a Freshman and is fairly clueless but we live close to the HS so she volunteered our house. I think it will be interesting and can't wait to snap some pics. Their club is the Anime Club (Japanese cartoon/art). The parade it at 1PM tomorrow...hmm, may need a stand-in for a half hour so I can run to the corner and get photos as they go by...anyone available??? I'll try to get as many photos as I can today.
