I made a beautiful decorated pinboard at my workshop and think I shall make several more for the neices at Christmas. If I could figure out how to post pictures someplace I would!!
wish I could play along, I am getting the family ready for a week at the shore, then when we get home i drop everyone off and go to a scrpbook weekend so I am just getting pictures and layouts ready for that. Have fun. I love the theme, may just do this at a later time.

Wish you could play too. It is easy for me, because I am retired and an empty nester. I have really liked this theme. You can do the challenges any time, just for recognition purposes, you have only to next sunday night.
Put the main one on your schedule for Sept. 23rd to 25th!

I'm jealous you get to go to a scrapbook weekend...HOW FUN! Be sure to save this linkand you can get some ideas for your future ABC album. Also, you can do the challenges whenever you like! If you want to join us for our main event you can pick up from there and return to the previous challenges whenever...before or after. It's all about having fun & getting pages done :-)
Will the Sept event be the same kind of curriculum?:confused: Are the teachers going to be as nice? ;) Are we going to eat in the cafeteria again? Can i sit by lmn this time? i promise i won't try and copy eeddmm papers anymore, well maybe sometimes. :rolleyes:And i will not to pass anymore notes to Smadson.
i need to do my homework to be better prepared for the next bunch of classes. i would like to work on getting my:
-titles started, not the actual title just the letter.
-get my photos organized better.
-get all my papers in a certain color scheme
-find embellishments/stickers/ribbons in same color scheme
-put it all in one box
-put box where i can find it in Sept.

These are good suggestions for all of us! I will try to put the photos with the words in plastic sleeves, so I will be ready!

I didn't get to much scrapbooking, but the week isn't over yet right?
I need to heed Denise's thoughts more - especially thinking of possible titles for photos. I'm at a place with my printed photos that leaves me wondering if I already did a page on that group already. Maybe I should get some of my really oldies scanned and re printed.

Can't wait to see what you've done but please don't stress yourself...it's suppose to be for FUN! We don't have any prizes this time round, the hosts will pick a page that they thought represented their challenge best but they're all so good! The ultimate objective is get pages done and support & encourage each other. If you miss Sunday's deadline, it's still fun to share when you can get them uploaded.

They linked to the thread but they are not in the Gallery. If you want to Upload so they are in the Gallery with the others you will need to:
1) Reduce your photo in .jpeg to 650 pixels (you can do it in other formats too but that's the one I use)
2) Click on the left UPLOAD A CARD (after you Upload another form will show up for you to fill out)
3) Fill out the details & be sure to use the proper KEYWORD

was stalking till Maddy and I got into a pretty good accident the other day, (day after we returned from a vacation to Disney World) rear ended at 50mph, we were at a complete stop, so been dealing with that the past few days, so I am sure I will be here in spirit, but not scrapping :( In and out of Dr. and Dentist, and back to our Primary Care Drs tomorrow for a look over. What a mess, miss you all, can't wait to see your pages.

thanks all it's becoming quite the mess, possibly fractured wrist for me, maddy's dr. ordered Ct Scan and neck x-ray, she is still complaining of headache and sore neck a week later. And to top it off a root canal for me that may or may not be related to the accident. Geesh, and I was so excited hubby had this weekend off, we just got back from Disney, so lots of material, and now I have not gumption or want :( So will be here in spirit, and look forward to what you all come up with I love the theme!!

Also, if you are more of a visual learner be sure to check out the Master Thread from the mini vsbn where we did letters A thru H. In each challenge is a Gallery so you can see how others did their pages.
Also, if you're unable to join us this weekend all the challenges will be listed by Monday. Or, if you missed the mini vsbn you can go back and do the previous challenges. Master Threads are a great resource for wonderful theme ideas so be sure to have fun and look around!
For all STUDENTS (stalkers)...if you want to come around here about 4 PM EST Friday there will be an extra credit assignment given (you can do this at your own pace).

Hi! I have never joined a VSBN before, but have wanted to for a long time. It's been almost a year since I did any scrap booking, and that was digital - which I love! I have been reorganizing my paper and stamp and embellishments stash and decided that it would be a lot of fun to do some traditional paper pages.
I saw the VSBN reminder at the top of the forums and decided now was the perfect time to give it a try - especially since I'm having a 4 day weekend!
Today I thought over my pictures, planned my theme (favorite moments from the past year), and my letters. I don't have my photos printed, but I've started on the pages for letters A-H! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow evening and this weekend!

How awesome..another digi scrapper! After VSBN you'll have to check out the other challenges (of which there is a weekly digi challenge!) We'd love to have you hang out more often with us. Can't wait to see you this weekend! Glad you are joining in...should be lots of fun.

I was going to go to work this morning but the electrician called to come and run wiring for our patio and the landscapers were here laying block until it started to rain so I couldn't really get out of my garage and now it's almost 11 a.m. and I haven't gone to the bank yet then it'll be lunchtime and so..I don't feel like driving to work now So I'll just go to the bank, come back and stay home, make baked beef stew, laundry, and watch my soap opera and be all ready by 6 for the first event! Come on VSBN!!!!! :-) :-)
