Le Petit Prince by Antoine De Saint Exupery
Le Petit Prince is such a special novel to me because it was the very first book I read in French and because the main character in the book exhibits such a childlike attitude I think is important for adults to remember.
Through the novel, the little prince travels to different planets and meets new people. He meets people with attributes most people possess, and tries to understand them in his childlike way.
My challenge to you is to create a page demonstrating childhood and/or childlike attributes. For my sample page, I used my boys playing outside in the sprinkler. I am sure everyone remembers that feeling of wistfulness experienced as a child by doing something so simple. So have fun and create something new!
Also, if you are interested in reading Le Petit Prince or The Little Prince, you can find it at your local library or you can read a preview of it online by typing in the English title in Google. It is a very quick read and is a very special novel!
My page is my younger brothers and I in 1977. My brother broke his arm right before he was supposed to race his soapbox. Our parents asked if I wanted to do it in his place - and I said no way. He did it himself, and won a ribbon.
I had to call my parents to check on the details, and we had a good time remembering together. So thanks for the great challenge Sheri.

I love this page! You did a great job with the challenge!
It was so funny - I remembered more about the event than my parents did I though about asking my brother who remembers everything, but I figured he'd tell me I remembered it all wrong - so I didn't ask him This is MY memory of the event.

Ok, I've got my water, my Diet Pepsi, my Smarties (chocolate in Canada) and I'm here in my scrap room. Time to get started! My biggest dilemma is which challenge do I start with? They're all so great!

oh how fun! I just picked up some picts of my boys playing on swings...they don't do that too often anymore, they're teenagers & it's not "cool", LOL! Looking forward to scrapping these. I'll be back

Start with this one and go back and do the others later.

Noah is going through a phase where he's learned to sit down on things bum first. He's hilarious as he's going around the house sitting on everything and sometimes even grabiing my hand and makng me sit with him. This morning I ran around taking photos of him, thinking it would be a great scrapbook memory. Now I have the perfect challenge for those photos. I'm just printing them now!
