Just checking in. I'm going to be doing this one tomorrow. I'll have to upload Monday morning. I'm getting tired. I really hope I don't have to work during the Enchanted Weekend. It's more fun when you're not playing catch up.

Okay this one took me longer to do. It actually took me 1/2 hour just to think of what to do. Once I came up with an idea the page only took 1 hour. I just couldn't think of anything else to do except a page about being a mommy. I wound up using Gems for the sparkle. I think the hardest part of the page was cutting up that SU patterned paper.
I have an idea floating around in my head for this challenge! But, it will hav eto wait until tomorrow as it is a bit too late and I think I will go watch this movie with my boys! See you all tomorrow!
Great challenge. I'm just not checking in and going to get started! Can't wait!

Well, once again, Lindsey spanked me on getting this challenge done. She not only did this challenge, she did another page for her album as well! She did struggle using the wheel, though, they are kind of hard. She used a glitter glue pen, I used II ep and a glitter pen and glitter ribbon.
I was so inspired by Mary doing the challenges with her dd that I wanted to the same. The only problem is that my dd is 15 mo. and in bed. Soooo, I did the next best thing and made a page from her point of view. Here it is... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Goodnight. Can't wait to see everyone's pages on Monday!
Here is mine. Had company so had to work on it later. Thanks for a great challenge. I didn't use tons of glitter but the smile does have glitter on it, which I forgot to include.

This was an awesome idea...What an adorable page! Soon you will be able to get that little gal into scrappin and stampin...;)
I just finished as well and down to the wire too. I finished the page with two minutes to spare. I will eventually change the journaling because I want dates of births and wedding and check on accuracy. I think my great grandfather's name is Daniel Herbert but with Mom's writing on the pictures it could be David Herbert. All of the stamping is embossed with holographic EP and the thread is sparkly as well. It doesn't really shine in the pic though. I'll be posting tomorrow.

Can't wait to see your creations! I finished mine last night, I just couldn't get it to upload. I will try right before I have to go to work in the morning.
Finished this challenge today too.. I can be productive when the bf just leaves me alone for a few hours on the weekend!! I will upload to the gallery tomorrow (no upload sunday) but I will attach here for now...
First off, since I was journaling my sister's wedding, I didn't title it "my fairytale" but I think it fits this catagory, becasue it truly was a "fairytale" wedding! This page is so much sparklier in person than it is in the picture anyways. The metal charms and words don't sparkle, but they do shine... and there is glitter on the entire word "love" in the upper left corner, there is glitter as champagne in the glasses and the bubbles above, and the sparkliest part is the genuine swarovski crystal on the ring in the bottom right corner (made with wire works).
Journaling: A Fairytale Wedding : Kelly and Sams wedding was a gorgeous affair, pulled right from the pages of every little girls diary entry of the perfect wedding. She looked prettier than I have ever seen her, and the flowers, cake, dress. everything looked stunning. The ceremony made us all cry (and laugh a little too!), but they were certainly tears of joy. We all realized how happy Sam would make my sister, and how much joy she would bring to him as well.

You did a wonderful job journaling...It does sound like a "Fairytale Wedding" Indeed!
I can't wait to "see" more pages uploaded on Monday! SO far I am going to have a super easy job judging...Now you gals *know* you can't be that easy on me! GET SCRAMPIN CHICKADEE'S!
Did this challenge yesterday. I got up nice and early to upload today. I can't believe I got both challenges done on time. I did have to make a few short cuts on each challenge. Unfortunately I cut more sparkles out of the second challenge. Although I still got the sparkles in, the first challenge was actually more sparkley. I was very skeptical started that I would even finish any pages in 2 hours but I made it with 2 mins to spare on the first and about 4 mins to spare on the second. Here's my fairy tale page:

Here is MY FAIRYTALE
It wouldn't go if I put the journaling in so here is the journaling for my page. Sorry so long!
My Fairytale Spa Weekend!
Once upon a time (actually it was February 25, 2005); Missy, Billy and Jack along with Nancy gave me my birthday present. It was a weekend away to the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This was a SPA weekend for 2 adults for 2 nights. I was so excited, the first person I thought of to go with me was my sister Tara! She was ALL for it! We decided to make it a scrapbooking weekend. So on March 25th I packed up ALL my stuff (well almost all of it!) along with Taras stuff and we went on our way! We arrived and unloaded the car (it took a whole CART!) and put it in the room. We then drove around and ate at the Palace of Roast Beef sandwiches; ARBYS. After that we ran into Wal-mart and then back to the hotel. Once we got back to the room we set up shop!
Now every fairytale has a little bit of bad in it and this one does too. Our room looked like it had not been dusted or really cleaned in awhile, so Tara and I dust a bit and rearrange the room to our needs. This entailed turning the table, setting up our kitchen on the dresser, and setting up all the inks and paper on my bed.
We scraped for a couple of hours that night and decided to get a little shut eye. We had a VERY BUSY schedule the next day; we needed to find the local scrapbook stores and we had our thermal baths and massages that were scheduled for 4:00 pm.
Saturday morning we arose and just got lounge clothes on and scrapped until the stores were to open. We then found the stores and shopped a little then came back to the hotel as there were SEVERE Thunderstorms that were on their way. We ate a little lunch from our personal kitchen and scrapped till it was time for our thermal baths and massages.
The thermal baths were something new to both Tara and I and we were a little hesitant on doing the scrub down but we really didnt have a choice! After we got out of our baths we were escorted to the steam room where we spent about 15 minutes. After steaming we were put on tables where we were to lay down on our backs and warm wet towels were wrapped around our arms and legs and a cool cloth on our foreheads. We lay like this for another 10-15 minutes, before being taken to a shower were we rinsed off. Then the next step was the massage! This part was great! We left our Spa treatment feeling VERY relaxed!
We arrive back to our room and scrap some more. Tara finishes what she is working on and helps me work on a couple pages. Then we eat some dinner and scrap some more before going to sleep!
Sunday we wake up and I get ready for our brunch that we had scheduled; it was Easter so the hotel was having a special Easter brunch. Before leaving the room I scrap a little more and we pack everything up. Tara gets the car and I wait for the bellman to come to take our stuff down. We load the car and head to brunch. We had a great meal and had special visitors! Billy, Missy, Jack and Missys dad had scheduled to eat brunch too and they were put in the same room as we were eating. After brunch Tara and I walked to a couple of the little shops across from the hotel and head on our way home. We had had a great weekend! It was something that we never would have been able to do something like this without the gift of the weekend!
Oh and to the dirtiness of the room; I put it on the comment card and send it to the hotel and a couple weeks later I received a small room credit for my next stay there! SO we are trying to plan another trip, but we are saving some money before going as the credit is not for the whole amount of a room. SO that is a fairytale of my own!
here are my pages, boy the sparkle doesn't show up, there is II on the butterfly on page 1 and on the word Minnies on page 2. The metal tag looks like a black blob, but it really has "joy" from Small Script on it.
Got mine done! I started @11:30 then got interupted after that I decided I better workout then get my shower next thing I know kids were coming home. So I just did a quick journal. This was a quickie and well you can tell! The journaling took me a little bit cause I was playing with the Glaze pen and glitter so the journaling isn't really what I wanted, but I did have to get done. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Imagine a beautiful page with soft velvet colors, a picture of a couple dancing on a pier overlooking the water on their wedding day, imagine the soft vellum title "I love you for sentimental reasons"...then imagine that same title sticking to the page in the wrong place after going through the xyron... then imagine the scream...
I will re-do the page in a few days, but I had to give up last night for sanity's sake! I went against my own rule of never stamp or adhere a title after the picture in case of a mistake- I won't forget that one for awhile!

Oh no. Well, I will be anxiously awaiting the new page but you might want to turn the orignal one into "Once Upon a Time.... I created a beautiful page only to have it eaten by the nasty xyron"
Oh, and what kind of camera did you use to get these shots. My camera has an underwater case available but I haven't invested in it. I don't think I would use it enough to make it worth it. But with your mermaid, it's definitely worth it!
Some of the accents looked like they might be and since you just asked about doing digital on the other thread, I was looking for it. But the ribbon looks real. Is it?
