Many of you have probably seen one or the other versions of Extreme Makeover. In 2002 the first show was televised revealing the transformation of regular individuals who underwent plastic surgery, dental work, exercise and diet regimes to ensure an extreme change in their appearance. A year later, the Home Edition was born where families in need were offered complete home renovations and often times total demolition and rebuilding from the ground up.
Through out our lives things are always changing. Most likely you have documented some of those changes with your camera. Well now is the time to share with us your Extreme Makeover!
Here is my Challenge to You�
1. Scrap a layout that depicts a makeover or change that has occurred in your life.
Think Before and After pictures� or how about a �That was then,� This is now� themed layout? Have you changed your hairstyle, lost a lot of weight, Moved to a new location, renovated a room in your house? Or do you have photos of someone or something from �back in the day� that you can compare with one these days? You be the judge, but find some pictures that show a change that has gone on and scrap it!!
2. The sketch provided is OPTIONAL but is laid out in such a way to compare two photos!
3. The only other REQUIREMENT is that you use some form of stamping on your layout.

1. ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON SATURDAY, MAY 1st, 2010.
2. You have 2 hours to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, APR10VSBNG, when uploading your image. (Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.)

OMG! I had to laugh...as I'm writing my comment to your page I realized what photos I need to do!!! My daughter is working on a large GATOR'S weaving (they learned the smaller version in 4th grade)! I'm soooooooooo excited...you inspired me in more than one way ;-) Though, we live 1.5 miles from UCF so she'll need the good grades to go to UF...LOL!!!

I am so glad I could inspire you!! LOL! Tell her to study hard and get really, really good grades!! The competition is tough at any of the Florida colleges!! :-)

Yes, it's a yarn art but this one is big, a wall hanging. I scoured my craft room and I can't find any of the 'right' colors so I'll have to give it more thought or get more cardstock :-) At least I have the idea!

I hear ya!! I have the advantage of having stockpiled any cute orange and blue papers I have seen for the last five years. Leah is just finishing her Masters at UF right now and we just found out that she made it into their Vet School too!!
I think I will need some more orange and blue paper!! LOL!!

Well...thank you for the compliment but all I'm doing is on the digital part since someone else does all the designing and color coordinating. It's easy to put the stuff together to match the pics when they've done the hard part! ;) If you go back really far in the gallery, they are not so good but I did just start scrapping in Oct 2008 so it has gotten easier as time is going by and the ladies here on SCS and thru VSBN help with the inspiration part a LOT!
I was going thru pics last night and found ALL the pics we took when building our house 14 years ago so I'll have to see how to lay these out.
I'm transferring things to my upstairs now so I can actually do some paper pages!
You know, I had missed this on the initial post of the challenge. Don't think I've ever seen this company before. I'll have to go take a look!
Ippity is a new stamp company... the stamps are made by Unity Stamp Co. and are made to be sold by people to make extra money. They aren't sold in stores or on Ebay, just by ippity chicks (reps!)
They have the cutest designs and like Unity they make stamps specific for Scrapbooking!! I love that!!

hehehe...me too..but I think it will be my son....he is 20 now, and sadly I haven't scrapped too many pictures of him lately, so I have plenty to pick from....
