yep, you make a page based on the challenge guidelines in two hours. It is a cumumlative 2 hours so if you need to stop, take a break or whatever, you are not penalized. Next month will be the main event March 30-April 1 and there will be lots of challenges. glad you found us! If you are interested, a lot of us are on the scrapbook goal thread which is a very encouraging and inspiring thread to cheer each other on to get pages completed. there are also several other regular scrapbook challenges. yay, finally got to this... I started it Wednesday but have been sick. It was a lot of fun. And.... I have eyelets under the ribbons (not brads like my description says) guess its been so long since I used them... I forgot!!!!
Just uploaded my page for your challenge Mary Pat! Finally got back into my craft room after several weeks! I did the 4x4 photos, and the sketch. I journaled and used 4 brads. I don't think I get the bonus, because the brads aren't sweet, although there are flowers imprinted on two of them. Here is Walking.
I was finally able to get my layout done in the specified time and have posted it. I really hope I posted in the right spot. Here's the link and I truly hope I posted it correctly!! :0)

Your image is still 'pending approval'. It looks like you just posted a few hours ago so I'll check back later today. Hopefully all went well, sorta looks like you did it correctly...guess we'll know later :-) Can't wait to see it!

As you can see by my page, my DGD is a gymnast. She is an aspiring, level 3 competitive gymnast who is competing in her first meet this weekend.... she switched gyms so the girls she is competing with have done their routines since last summer and competed since fall. J started learning hers in late January. I'd appreciate any good thoughts you could send that she does well! Thanks!

I realized that I finished my page the night of VSBN Mini, uploaded to my gallery but forgot to link back here. My page is a 2nd page for layout I did earlier so it worked perfectly! Thanks for the challenge MP!
Here's my page and I have to confess I sort of stretched the "use four decorative elements" part of the challenge....I was putting my page together without rechecking the actual challenge (note to self don't depend on memory) So I have only 3 flowers and 3 brads but I do have 4 "sweet" elements in my cupcakes! So I am saying my four decorative elements are cupcakes ribbon flowers brads.....but I do have 4 cupcakes and they were entended as my "sweet" decorative elements. LOL TFL
The layouts posted so far for this challenge are great. I haven't seen them all but the ones I have checked out are really creative. I finally got my own layout finished and posted. I sat down to start it today at 4:20 and finished it at 5:27! I can't remember ever finishing a layout in that short a time, so thanks to Mary Pat for posting this great challenge and inspiring me to scrap quickly.
