Default Quick & Easy Trick to divide cardstock

I was breaking my brain figuring out how to divide an 8.5x11" piece of cardstock into thirds, and I thought I'd share this quick and easy way to do it

Thanks so much for sharing the tip about dividing your 8-1/2 x 11 sheet into thirds with the ruler! I will use this for sure.

I don't have a Fuse, but watched the whole tutorial in case I ever get one.

But I can use your smartness about dividing into thirds right now!

Speaking of the poor quality stand, I keep my fuse tool in a holster when putting it aside. It sticks to my desk very well. If I recall, there are two sizes:

And speaking of rulers, I bought my fuse tool in an HSN bundle. Both a 6" and 12" ruler were included. The 12" has a decorative slot, not the straight one, so you'd use the outside edge of the ruler, like Lydia did at one point.

I found it separately on Scrapbook.com and Ammy:

I just noticed the fuse tool bundle on HSN is $29.99, clearance:
We R Memory Keepers Fuse with Ultimate Accessory Bundle and Card Kit - 7780769 | HSN
It has a lot of stuff I'd never use, but was worth it for me for the long ruler, mat, sleeves, embellishments and plenty of items to practice with.

I just tried dividing paper the way Lydia showed on her video; magic!

I should have added that the bundle also includes extra decorative tips, envelopes and fuseable papers to be used on cards. (Wish I could have edited, sorry.)

I love the Fuse Tool! I bought a cork backed metal ruler (can look for "metal ruler" on Amazon or find one at an office supply store) for use with my Fuse. You can get them in 6, 12, 18, and 24 inches. Thanks for sharing!
