I'm looking at purchasing a xyron machine for scrapbooking. My scrapbooks are mostly 12 x 12. I have no idea about this machine and have never seen one used. I like the idea of being able to put the adhesive on everything and then putting my page together. Which machine have you used? Which one do you suggest. Thanks for all of your help...
I bot the Xyron 250 to use with my Cricut machine. I like it - don't love it but haven't found anything better. It's only for the small stuff that we need the Xyron machine other than that the tape runners are best. I would recommend the repositionable glue tape for the Xyron rather than the other type (one stick and that 's it kinda thing) also you can get glue that seeps out from behind the punch but no worries as it seems to come off on it's own without pulling or tugging at it. The Xyron is only for things that you can't use a tape runner on - as it can be rather expensive to work with so try to get your adhesives on sale as they aren't cheap. Hope that helps.

I use my little "X" one a lot. I have the 9xx and 510 one also but they still aren't out of the box. I bought the 9xx series one and my mom gave me the 510. I had only a little cramped corner to work in so I didn't have room for the bigger machines. We'll see if I end up using them now that I have a craft room!

I got the 1200 for Christmas a few years back. I told my husband I wanted a Xyron and did not give specifics so he went out and got me the 1200 because he knew I do mostly 12x12 pages. I do use it and love it. I hate that I can't find refills anywhere and have to order them online from Xyron.
I have the 900 and it is the best thing I every bought when it went on sale. It took me a while to learn to use it. I was trying to run things through to fast and was having a problem with the adshive sticking to what I was trying to do. But now that I learned to run it slowly and leave it together for a few minutes, I have found that it is the best thing that I ever had. Now, if I can only figure out my wishblade, life would be set!!!

I have the 900, the 510 and the little x. I love and use them all. The 900 is very flexible! You can use permanent adhesive or temporary adhesive. They also have laminating and magnetic backing, and a few others. I use it a LOT. I especially like the laminating cartridge for the 900. You'll be surprised what you will laminate.
The 510 is good for die cuts, chip board embellishments, etc. I mostly use my little X for running ribbon through, or tiny little embellishments. LOVE them all!
I thought about getting the 1200, but so far I've never needed more than 9".
Thank you all for your information... I really appreciate the input. I thought I needed the 12 x 12 because I mainly do 12 x 12 pages. I bought the 900 on sale but haven't opened it because I wasn't sure. I thougth it would be great to send all of the ribbon, CS pieces pictures, etc thru at one time for a page. Is this a waste of the xyron? Again THANK YOU all for your help I really appreciate all the input.
