I purchased the zutter heavy duty corner rounder thinking it would be great to corner round paper since it says it will round anything and everything. Well come to find out it WILL NOT CUT THROUGH PAPER the only way it will round corners is if you are rounding 5 or more sheets at one time? I don't know about all of you but when I am scrapping / card making I am only wanting to round one sheet. When I called the company they said it was only made for heavy duty products? I wonder what they ment by "round anything and everything?" I am a little disappointed with this because I have the zutter machine and LOVE IT.....Thanks for letting me vent.
I think the idea is to be able to quickly round corners when making a book. It can handle multiple sheets at a time as opposed to a corner rounder punch which will do one page at a time. Do you have a corner rounder punch?
I thought it was a rediculously expensive corner rounder since I use EK/SU punches for rounding corners...and they are only $5-6.
I did end up buying it though when I started doing books with chipboard and multiple pages. I love it...but never tried it on one sheet, since I use my regular punches for that.
Maybe if that's all you got it for, you could return it and buy a paper punch and be ahead with more $$ for other stuff??

Thanks for the heads up. I was wanting to buy the Zutter rounder but I was having a hard time with the idea of having to buy 2 at $20+ for different sizes. There's a new product coming out by We R Memory Keepers called the Corner Chomper. It has two sizes built in. I think I'm going to hold out for that one.
i was thinking the same thing.. i wanted something to round the corners of chipboard but thought $25.00 was a little expensive.. I'm so glad i held out when i saw this http://www.craftcritique.com/2009/02...crop-dile.html I hope it comes out soon!
I got the Paper Gator for a steal when it was on QVC or HSN or one of those places. The machine and all the blades plus some extra goodies were a really good price, and I had a coupon for shipping.
The MM Chomper looks like a good machine!

Scrapbook.com shows the chomper at $24.99 and the case at $9.99. I also read that the release date is April. I am willing to wait, I think. The paper gator is $50 with only ONE blade. Other sizes of blades are $8.
Well I wish I didn't buy my Round It All then... :(
Oh well, I for sure won't buy the little RIA...I'll maybe get the Chomper and sell the Pink RIA. At least I got it with a coupon.

Actually, I prefer the round it all because it doesn't take up the space of the larger ones. It's nice for rounding chipboard and acrylic, too. (But no, you're right, it's not meant for rounding one sheet of paper.)

I bought the Paper Gator a few months ago and I really like it. It can do as little as one sheet and as much as (I think) 100 sheets of text weight paper. It has built in storage, different blades with adjustable guides, and sturdy construction (I don't have to worry about it falling apart anytime soon). The only thing you have to be careful about is making sure the guides are tight so they don't shift in the middle of a project. Otherwise, it's been great for me.
