Wood Stamp Storage and Copic Storage! All help appreciated

[B][Hi! I hope I am posting this in the right area. I am re-doing my art room, and I am wondering how to properly store wood stamps?

Can I just use baskets or decorated boxes, and once they are cleaned and dry-- toss them in? Or do they need to be in neat rows, stamp side facing a certain direction? Can I close these baskets, so I can stack them to save room? I have a way to store acrylic stamps. Please share your advice.

Also I have Sketch Copics and Ciao Copics. Should they be stored standing? Or on their sides? Does it make a difference? I don't want to ruin them after barely using them so far!

Cant answer about the stamps, but can about the copics. The copic website says you can store them either direction. There are tons of storage ideas out there from wine racks to amazon pen holders. There are other threads that talk about storage. Good luck!

I've stored mine several ways but the most efficient way for me is to use the Stampendous Stufftainers. They come in 3 sizes and once filled you can store them in magazine holders on your shelfs like a book. I love mine. I keep my wood stamps in some, my favorite 8 � X 11 papers in some and lots of other things. They aren't very thick but they seem sturdy enough.

I use what I see, so I store my wood mounted stamps in old wooden spice racks I find at garage sales. All my pens I stoer on their side.

I have a dedicated craft room, so I have several plastic towers with drawers, some drawers are about 6 " deep, some are about 3" deep. I keep the wood sets of wood stamps together in clamshells they came in (mostly SU), then label the drawers for the category of sets "Flowers" "Elements" "Nature" etc. My single stamps are in drawers by category, rubber side down so I can see the image.
I have so much trouble with unmounted rubber stamps sticking to acrylic block that I don't want to unmount from wood.

It's best not to have the stamps in a jumble; prolonged pressure on the rubber could affect how evenly it stamps. Also, keep them from lots of sunlight.
