Default where to find paper storage tower - not wire

Any suggestions on where to find sturdy paper storage towers that will fit 12x12 and/or reg. card stock? I don't want the wire kinds so it needs to be solid with lots of narrow slots. Ideally it would have >48 slots for all the SU colors but more would be better. I could probably put 2 side by side to get the amt of storage I need as well.

Any specific products come to mind?

I have a couple older Target cubes but they don't have enough slots. I really need to get organized. Help!

Default Paper Storage Options

Try bestscrapbookshelf (it's an online store). It has wonderful storage for rubber stamps but you can also convert to paper storage. Expensive but well worth it.

I bought something from Michaels that I like. It is wire, but only on the sides. Where the paper goes, its a cloth/vinyl like thing - I didn't like the wire shelves because paper kept getting caught on it and bending it. There isn't 48 dividers though, I think its 24 or 30. The dividers are about three inches wide and I put a couple of colors in each divider (I don't have individual packages of each color, just a lot of some and not so much of others). It also comes with a cover that you can put over it to keep the light out. And it comes with wheels that you can put on or not put on. It stands about four feet high and 12 x 12 fit very well in it. Maybe look at Michael's site and see what they have. If you can't find it, let me know (PM me) and I'll look for it. I can't remember who made it. And I used a coupon but it was around $30 without coupon. But I Love It! Very sturdy.

My SIL, also a rubber stamper, had her DH build her a great shelving that holds all her 81/2x11 SU paper and it it neat.* I'm working on getting my DH to make me one.* So, if you know someone who does wood work, maybe you could get them to make* you one.* You might try the local high school to see if they have a woodworking shop and see if they have someone interested in making it for the cost of the supplies and being able to have pictures and credit for it in their portfolio. You could have one for either the 81/2 x 11 or 12 x 12 or both

can you unscrew the Target cubes and get more slots grooved in and then get some laminate cut down for the dividers?

I have to say I have the cubes and plan to use them vertically and maybe laminat some dividers between them... but at the moment I have enough to fill them up on end.

I've decided to go with the best scrap book shelves. They are expensive, but they get rave reviews and I will use the drawers for stamps and the paper slots for SU! cardstock.

As soon as I get the guest bed out and my room repainted (a month or two MAX), I'm hitting the submit button. My CC is going to squeal, but I've made the decision.

Oooh! I really like these!! I wonder if SU 12x12 will fit in the drawers easily or is it pretty tight? I don't want to be bending papers trying to get them out.

Any other favorites out there? I tried to find a mail or literature sorter that would hold the 12x12 but couldn't find one.

I am lucky enough to have a few of the Best Scrapbook shelves and love them. If you are storing mostly 8.5 x 11 then use the drawers, but for the 12x 12, use the paper shelves. They are awesome and worth every penny.

I recently got a paper holder rack (like the post office kind) from a local business supply store that went under new management. It has 4 sections with 13 slots in each section and fits on a small microwave cart in my craft room. It's perfect and it was only $20 and it's solid wood!

You may want to check out your local office supply stores and your local post office.

Good luck.

I use the white cubes from Michaels. I turn the one with 4 shelves on it's side and put one color family in each slot. If you combine the cube with the cropper hopper vertical paper holders you can divide them up more.
