the Nestabilities? I've read that some people store them in a notebook on magnetic sheets inside a page protector. I called Office Depot ( the only game inour town) and they have five 8.5 x x11 sheets for $16.99. Seems a little pricey. Anyone have any other sources? Keeping them in a notebook sounds like a great idea!
Walmart carries the Avery brand that are 8.5" x 11". I got some quite a while back. Not sure about the price - somewhere around $7-8 for about 4 or 5 sheets.
If you can possibly afford it, I would get the Magnetic Books by Quickutz. Hobby Lobby carries them so you can use a 40% off coupon on them.
I buy big sheets of magnetic sheeting from Dick Blick. They sell them to
make signs for vans or cars, and are strong magnets. You buy whichever
width you want by the foot. Is pretty inexpensive.
HL even has the smaller sheets you can just cut to fit. They are located in the crafts section where the doll making stuff is.
Good luck!

Someone on a thread mentioned using magnetic vent covers, said they were 3 for $9.99. I have one on a vent in our garage - not sure why I should have a/c on in the garage. Anyway, I keep meaning to peel it off the vent and try it with my nestabilities. That price seems pretty reasonable if they work. I would think you might have better luck at a Home Depot/Lowes as far as cheaper options.

I do the CD case thing, too, but I use magnetic strips. You can get a roll of it at Michael's or hobby lobby using your coupon, cheap. It is magnetic on one side and there is adhesive on the other side. You can easily cut it with scissors to the length you need. I use two magnetic strips per set of Nesties. Have fun with your nesties!

I sort of do the same thing - but I don't have CD cases. I cut squares of heavy cardboard and attached the magnetic tape. Each Nestie set goes on a square and the squares are filed on end in a photo box.

I purchased magnetic strips at my big home improvement store. A 10' roll was about $4. Since I store my nesties in CD cases, the strips worked for me and this was much more economical.
I recently bought more magnetic vent covers at Home Depot. There was a pack of 3 for less than $5. You just have to cut them up to fit what ever size you need - they are not too thick so regular scissors will do the job.

I use a cute little 2 ring binder from Walmart that is back in the photo department. There are little inserts that go in it that are intended for photo disc storage. I buy 4x6 magnet sheets in the craft dept. there - 2 sheets in a pack for 1.99 I think. The book may have been $3 and the inserts are 1.99 a pack. I just got the new mega curved rectangle nesties and all six dies fit in a sleeve. The only ones I had to split up were the scalloped squares - I mean I had to split one set of dies onto two different magnetic sheets. This works for me and I used my SU tag punch to make little tags for each page so I can find them quickly. I need to slow down because I may have to get a new notebook soon as mine is becoming full but I have more than 18 sets of Nesties in that one little notebook and it's not even heavy AND it's very portable!
Recently, I posted on another thread, that I used the magnetic vent covers. I cut heavy cardboard to the desired size and then cut a piece of the MVC to go over it. I then store these in an open rectangular container that sets next to my CB. I really like this set-up and find that I use my nestabilities much more often now that they are so handy to reach for. Prior to this method, I used the cd holders.....but, I really prefer my new way much better. I checked the pkg. that the vent covers came in, and it cost $7.99.
what aisle would you find the magnetic vent covers in? I'm clueless when it comes to the home improvement store and if I asked my husband to get them for me, he'd give me a blank look and ask why.
i went to the kids section in the walmart and I found magnetic tape for 2.99 for about 6 or 8 of them. They were near the googly eyes.
It works great! My nesties are resting comfy in my cd cases.
This is an excellent source. I have to head back to Walmart to return something anyway. I was going to pick up some GP paper, but this is even more reason to go. TFS!
You might want to check eBAY. Some have 15 sheets listed for very little -- 15 sheets for $4.99 plus $3 shipping, another at 10.99 with no shipping. I searched under MAGNET SHEET. I don't know anything about the sellers -- have never ordered from them.
I've been wondering if the magnetic cartridge from Xyron would work. I have some leftover pieces, but can't remember where I put them.

I asked and the guy took me right to them. They were right next to the regular type of vent covers - metal yucky brown things. Sorry I can't give you an exact aisle. But their original purpose is to close off a vent, that might help explain it to DH or anyone you ask for help from.

Our local Honk's dollar store had these vent covers for $1 about a month ago and I bought some. They were in the automotive/lightbulb part of the store. There were three in the package and they were extra long.
