Lately I have seen several cards that have small lace on them. They are very attractive.
Where are you buying small lace for cards?? I don't have an LSS store and unless I missed it I didn't see lace at Michael's
Thanks
Barbara Jay
Hey Barbara, I bought some beautiful cotton lace at WalMart. Do you have a WalMart close by? I actually got it in the sewing section, maybe in the wedding lace section I think. I have a picture of a bag I embellished for Christmas with some of the lace on my blog. I hate to say it but I don't know my URL, that is how new I am to this blogging thing - I don't know how to find it :( But my blog is called "bloglessinutah"

I've gotten found grab bags of lace and ribbon at goodwill and thrift stores before. Also church rummage sales tend to have trimmings, crochet, etc for pretty good prices. Sometimes i'll get lucky and stumble upon an estate sale of someone that used to be sewer, and I'll be in crafter heaven!

Good luck in your search and hope this helps!
Hey, Micheyme -- Where are you in Maryland? I might have to meet your gorgeous cat

Almost any place that sells fabric also sells lace, such as Hancocks and Joann's. Hobby Lobby also carries fabric and they have a section with lace and trims also.
Sometimes it will be on a spool and sold by the yard, like ribbon. You can also find small lace in the sewing notions section with bias tape and seam binding in small packages of several yards.

Mark's Finest Paper has some pretty lace. Plus I love Stampin' Up!'s lace.I have also found lace at the Goodwill and another thrift store in town.
I also asked my friends at church if they had any lace and you would not believe what I got! Some of the quilting ladies had lace they bought years and year ago and had never used. It was so fun going thru that box!!
