Question where to buy 110lb cardstock and ink?

where can I buy 110 lb colored cardstock other then white/ivory?

I love to use this weight when making my cards.
Michaels sells the packs lately for $12.99, and with a coupon is a great price for 100 sheets, but I really would like other colors.

I am also wondering what is the best ink pad in silver/grey that is not pigment . I have tried a couple and the only ones I find that give a nice deep color are pigment inks.

thank you for helping!
Mary

Check out Papertreyink (PTI). Their solid colored cardstock is 110 lb.

Gina K Designs has some 120 lb. and some 80 lb. of same colors for layering.

Both companies select their own colors. I order from both and like them.

Hi Mary, I know Staz-on make a silver metallic pad, and Staz-on is a solvent based ink, so not pigment. Versafine make a nice grey pad, Smokey Gray.

I have the staz-on silver, it is a gorgeous color, but the pad is not so great. You have to re-ink it every time and it is super sticky when you try to re-open the case.

I really like the new Smoky Slate from Stampin up. It reminds me of grey flannel. And with their new pads, you get a dye ink but it's a great foam pad.

I would check with a local printer. Ask for Cover.. not Index. I have some 110# cover but I mainly use 100# cover for card bases and 80# for layering.

Try My Favorite Things cardstock. It's 100 lb. and has inks to match. I love the Kraft dye ink! The Red Hot cardstock is a great red and it feels heavy and so nice.

Simon Says Stamps just came out with their own paper and ink, too, that I have in the shopping cart still contemplating.

Delicata is just coming out with silver. The Delicata Gold Glitz dries surprisingly quickly so I'm hoping the same for the new silver.

Regarding ink, I use Encore Gold and silver ink pads. I was introduced to them by, I think, Gina K.. They r very quick drying pigment inks that stamp crisp and do not have that smear factor.

My favorite heavier weight color cardstock is Bazzill Card Shoppe.
