I am trying real hard to be more "green" or environmental in my life. On that basis, I would prefer just one catty and more minis, I am now having trouble storing all my catties from 9 years of stamping!

I agree, sometimes it takes time for a set "grow on me" and then it's time for the new catolog! It may be a good selling tactic, but I am not one to buy on impulse. I already have to many SU sets. (customer view, not a dealer)

I'm in the UK and we get one catalogue. It's limiting if you're not massively impressed (and general consensus is it hasn't captured the UK market well, our needs etc and also expensive).
There's not much seasonal stuff and will people really buy Christmas stuff in May? No Easter stuff really, no Mothers, Fathers day etc, not much Christmas considering it's our one MASSIVE celebration in the UK. Also lacking in male sets and papers overall-no pinky papers really-the stuff in one catalogue if not thrilling at first look doesn't suddenly become thrilling!
We have just got Sale-a-bration launched but not impressed. Lots of Congratulations stamps is not my forte and SU do loads, mostly in fact, floral stamps so why more. I'm disappointed hugely as first year. We also have to endure every European language SU deal with in one catalogue so hard to see stuff as VERY cluttered.
I think 2 big catalogues is excessive and I wouldn't want to buy 2 especially as alot presumably repeated? I think charging so much for them is ludicrous and certainly not how we do things normally in the UK-not sure if you do in the US/Canada/Australia etc.
I'd like a couple of seasonal mini catalogues-FREE please! For Christmas etc and things like that-in the UK SU could mix the Easter, Father Day, Mothers Day etc, but it would be nice to have something.
I wish it was back to one catty per year. If its going to stay 2 they need to come down on the price. I can but a new stamp set for what it costs for two catties per year. Just my two cents...
I'm for one catalog a year. No room for them now. Keep the general stuff in the large one and send out special sets in minis a few months before the holiday etc. for time to buy and make things. Do also feel rushed into buying. Would like to have gotten more from the current mini, but with Christmas, had to make choices, and the extras come after family, and no extra money now. Do Christmas releases in the Spring/Summer, so time to buy and start working on items for the holidays etc. etc.
I loved it when they had Mini-Catalogs! Always seemed like something new and fun was out timely. :-D Thanks for the update on the New one coming! Always enjoyable.

I spend less with two cattys and fewer minis. I always bought so much stuff from all the minis because I knew they were only available for a limited time.
I used to place 2 hostess orders for just myself, when they had one catty a year. I have not placed a hostess order since March, which was my birthday order. I bought mostly from the minis. I have actually only ordered one stamp set, and that was the Family bundle last month. I think the last stamps I ordered from SU were in my hostess order in March. I would prefer one catty and lots of minis!
You know, I've grown tired of the stamps offered by SU. My friend is a SU demo and I am part of a monthly club for SU. I have a feeling though that any money I spend on SU will be on supplies other than stamps. The sneak peeks have not impressed me at all.
I agree with Roxy. I have grown tired of SU stamps. I will keep buying their paper and inks, but not many of their stamps thrill me any more. I was part of a stamp club for the last 6 months, but won't sign up again. It was too much of a struggle to come up with something I wanted to buy each month.

As a demonstrator, buying cattys for my customers 2X per year will get expensive. Other than the cost, it doesn't bother me with one or 2 a year. I definitely wish I could buy more from this one, but I am excited from the spring preview sets. I already played with my preview stamp sets quite a bit
I agree with evenryone who is a little tired of SU's stamps. I have been finding less and less in every catty that I want as far as stamps. I love the supplies though.

I absolutely do not like the two cattys a year thing! When the Fall one comes out, it's time to do Halloween-Christmas. I have yet to get to all the DP that I bought in the Fall, now it's all discontinued. It seems I'm just now wanting to get to the new stamp sets but here we go, another catty. TOOOO much waste and confusion on the part of SU. With all the competition from new companies, you'd think they would rethink this dumb decision. Not to user friendly or supportive of the demos either - more expense and hassle for them.

I totally agree with too many catalogs!! I really hope SU reads this thread and considers changing their policies.

But, on the other hand, with all of the competition from the other companies, I think the two catalogs helps stay with that. If they were to put all of the new and upcoming in just the mini's then there would only be a two to three month window to order. As a demo and customer, I love the two catalogs. When they had only one, I was ready for a new one about mid January/ Feb. I do wish that they would go back to more mini's in addition to the two catalogs.
