I'm not sure exactly what the difference is - I know there's a slightly different finish on photo paper, and therefore, not all techniques will work on it. Some are fine, some... not so much. I learned the hard way, deciding to be thrifty and smart :rolleyes: and bought a COSTCO sized ream of photo paper (8 1/2 x 11). I soon found out not a lot works on it. I've found that ink dries a lot faster on the photo paper than on the glossy cardstock, so anywhere you need blending of any kind, it probably won't work.
