What's the best adhesive for chipboard/coasters???
I'm about to attempt my first project using coasters, and I'm wondering what the best adhesive is to afix my Designer Paper to the coasters.
Should I be using something like Mod Podge? Or my SNAIL? Or some other glue? I don't have Mono Multi (yet...still trying to find it around here!), but I have Scotch Quick Tack.
I've used ModPodge, Xyron and glue sticks with great success. Whatever you use, you want FULL coverage. So basically whatever is easiest for you to get the full coverage.
If you use ModPodge, I recommend putting a THIN coat on the paper then putting it on the coaster. Coasters are easy, just flip it upside down and press on your flat surface. It takes all the air pockets/bubbles out if you use Mod Podge.
I use mod podge but I hear there is something similar to modpodge that works better, a brand called Royal something or other. Anyone know? When I run out of my modpodge I may try it.

Royal Coat...it's also a Plaid Product. Go to www.plaidonline.com and do a search to bring it up.
I use glue stick all the time to adhere pattern papers to my coasters and chipboard shapes...depending on the project tho...I do use Royal Coat Decoupage Medium...its the best for thinner papers, tissues, etc...I love to cover chipboard with designer tissue paper and napkins and the Royal Coat is awesome...I have used it for over 20 years now...you can also stamp on it...I have lots of stuff on my blog where Royal Coat was used... http://debbiesdiecuts.blogspot.com

I tried Modpodge on it and it worked great. It dried rather quickly too, so I was able to decorate it right away and it took very little drying time. I loved it!
If any of you are making the DP covered coaster boxes, are you using the E6000 to hold the bottom or something else that's not so potent (to the user)?
I have used Crystal Effects, Fabri-Tac, hot glue. My favorite way to do it (no waiting for it to dry) is to punch two holes in each corner of the bottom coaster and lace it up to the sides!
Mod Podge works great for adhering paper to chipboard. I use a glue dot to adhere the finished chipboard to paper.
Never used the royal product as Mod Podge works fanstastically for my projects.

Am guessing you're thinking of Plaid Royal Coat...ModPodge is a Plaid product too. Actually, there not too much difference between the two.
