I'm sure there are people who have many more stickles than I do! I bought black and orange at Halloween, brown at Thanksgiving, red and green at Christmas, to spread purchases out. There was a thread where Miss Daisy told her favorites so I ordered a bunch of those last week on sale at Addicted to Rubber Stamps. I always use gold and silver, so I got those too. See, it's addictive!:p

My local stamp shop has them on sale (bogo or 1.00 per bottle) frequently, so I have several colors. I use them on a cards and other craft projects as well. They just add that little "sparkle" to every project.

"Oh the wonderful thing about stickles
Is stickles are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber . .
oh no, that would either be Tigger or stamps.
You can find stickles online or at various LSS.
They are a type of glitter glue in multiple colors that do wonderful things for your cards. They have a thin applicator at the top so you can draw lines or do small dots of color. And if you pay more than $2.25 for one bottle, look elsewhere because you can do better.
It dries flat...not puffy like puffy paint or glue...I thought it sis till I tried it!
Its wonderful and very fun!
I know TAC sells a bunch of great colors.
My local scrap store only sells a few at a time..like red and green for Christmas...
I feel like a complete Noobie asking this but have seen this used and just wondering what it is.. It looks to be like Glitter of some sort. Thinking it might be that liquid like glitter in a bottle BUT I don't know it..
Please help me out with this one.
Thanks
Sue
I've just recently been turned onto Stickles (by SCSers, of course), and now I couldn't live without them. The colors are great, they are more sparkly than most other glitters, and they come with a very fine point tip so you can do great detail work. My favorite color is Orange Peel. It rocks!
I love STICKLES. It's like Crystal Effects with glitter in one bottle/one easy application. It comes in clear and all kinds of other colors, too, like black and yellow.
I noticed on one of the cards that they used not only prismacolor pencils but also stickles. Can someone tell me what these are? Oh goodness, do I need to go out and find these also to make my cards look as cute as these I've seen?

I cannot say enough good things about Stickles. They are one of the first things I came across when I started doing this. What I like is the tip on the bottle is very fine, and it gives you a lot of control. It makes your card "pop," too. I am crazy about mine.... I've got about 16 colors.
I've just discovered Stickles, too and they are so fun to use. My best description of them would be liquid glitter. The effect it produces is amazing. Stickles are an inexpensive embellishment. You've got to get some!

ok, what are sickles and where do i get them....there was an adorable card on the gallery today that had sickle dots as water droplets and i have also seen them to embelish flowers. can you assist...
Do a Google search and you'll find sites that show you all 40-something colors of these AWESOME little glitter glues. I can't live without mine, use it all the time!
From the threads I've browsed in Tool and Product Talk on SCS, the coloured Stickles are difficult to use; for your first purchases I would suggest sticking to "neutrals" like the lace one, diamonds, icicles. If you do a search on stickles on SCS, there was a recent thread where there was a link to someone's blog where the blogger broke down the differences between the neutral Stickles. (Isn't that a convoluted linkage!)
Blockheads carries both the Stickles and Ice Stickles. The above is the link to the page with the glitter glues, including Shmimmerz and Liquid Pearls Irridescent.
The Stickles and Stickles Ice are glues with glitter in them. They are easier to use than regular glitter as there is no flying glitter. You do need to allow for glue drying time.
Be warned that they are addictive to use and you will want them all!
Stickles are glitter glue. It comes in a bazillion colors as well as several clears with different undertones. It is awesome stuff. You can add a little or a lot of sparkle to a card in no time. The only down side is that it takes a while to dry, it's not instantaneous. If you have an opportunity you gotta get some, you'll love it.

you guys convinced me...I just placed my order at stamppal.com only $1.75 each for the Stickles...Yipee...now cant wait to get them! Free shipping on orders over $25.00 too! Needless to say, I spent over $25.00!
I see all the time in the gallery that you ladies use stickles on your cards. I went to Michaels and they looked at me like I was nuts when I asked them about it. Maybe I am. Am I just making this up or is there really a product called Stickles? TIA.

Yes, I just bought myself about 6 little bottles of Stickles at Archivers. The best I can explain it is.. like glitter glue. I haven't seen it at either Hobby Lobby or Michael's either.
