Well I am looking at a bottle that I have right in front of me and the bottle reads "stickles makes your art sparkle and enhances rubber stamped designs. Stickles adds excitement to greeting cards, letters, envelopes, holiday & party decorations. etc."
Pretty much it is clear glue with glitter in it =) They have a large assortment of colors. I hope that answers your question.
I had no idea what they were until a couple weeks ago.... now that I have some I think of them as "grown up glitter"... in other words, "kids, keep your hands off mommy's stuff!!"
Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
Stickles are just the right touch to so many of my projects. One thing I discovered (the hard way, of course) is don't introduce a 2 year old to Stickles, because you will have Stickles everywhere. Kids love Stickles too!

Kids aren't the only ones that love Stickles.
Our 4-legged fuzzy child Sarge got into mine the other day. ...Well he walked onto the card I was making. and he tracked Stickle all over my stamp desk.
So now my desk has little reminders.. NOT to leave Cards out.
It comes in a little bottle and in different colors. You can place glitter anywhere on your project and it is REALLY great stuff! Just the perfect amount of sparkle!
They are so fun. My favorite is "diamond". But why limit yourself to only one? My LSS sells them for $2.25 each so when I want a treat I just pop on over. I think I have 12 different bottles now!
Sticles is almost like glitter glue, comes in a little bottle and you squeze(SP) out! Comes in almost 24 colors I think. You can paint on with a paint brush or even a toothpick. Adds great highlights to any projects. Can be found out local LSS for around $2.50 a bottle. Hope this helps.
You have to try them!! I am not a "glittery" type person but I do like these...they add just the right type of sparkle to any project and they are super easy to use.
The Angel Company (TAC) carries them if you can't find them locally...
Your local scrapbooking store should have them, addicted to rubber stamps has them also and if you look in michaels you can find them (under a different name) with the glitter, I don't think they are with the scrapbooking stuff.
I live in Canada and I see everyone using these stickles on their cards, just about everywhere what are they? and where can I get mine? please help!! Thanks Gillian Barton.
You can get them pretty much anywhere crafts are sold from WalMart to your local stamp store, etc.
Personally, I'm not a big fan. I had a bunch of them years ago and was never really happy with them. After seeing everyone here rave about them, I thought they had improved over the years and bought two more bottles a few weeks ago.... no improvement. I don't think the glitter is very eye catching when it dries. It almost looks dull. I much prefer using glue and glitter the "old fashioned way"!
A lot of the smaller scrapbook/stamp stores sell them. I live in London and there's quite a few of them around that do...I've never seen them at Michael's though. If you're ever in London, I could let you know of 2 places I can think of that have them...

I think that's why I like them...they are a very subtle touch of glitter. I normally don't like too much sparkle, so for me, it's just the right amount!
i was wondering what this is.. i dont even know if i have the right word.. is it just glitter or something? is it a glitter pen? i dont know.. any info would be great thanks!
It is a little bottle of clear drying glue that has glitter in it. It comes in a wide range of colors. Stickes is made by Ranger, and here is a link:

It's the BEST stuff EVER! It just adds that little bit of "bling" to your cards without being overwhelming! It can "color in" a section of a stamp without making it too "colored in". KWIM?
If you have a 5 year old daughter and purchase a bottle...HIDE IT...or you will not get a chance to use it before she does!!! (voice of experience here!!)

This made me giggle - my 2 kids (ages 4 and 2 1/2) love them too!!
