I have been on several sites just looking and the little Provo Craft Band-Aid boxes are always sold out. I am assuming that you decorate them like the lunch tin's but, what are people putting in them:confused:
Thanks!!
I've seen a few of these...And they are just darn cute.
Band aide boxes are being used for little scrapbooks. Note cards.
Just like the Lunchbox tin's ideas run endless.

Those would also be REALLY cute to store bandaids in the bathroom too! (I know I reached really far into my creativity for that one!)
You could use the bandaids from Happy Healing to decorate it. I have a metal bandaid tin at home that actually does store bandaids, maybe I could decorate it!! Great idea..
You can still find Metal Band aid boxes. I know I have seen them at Wal-mart. Of couse they cost a little more. But I'm sure you could find a supplier that has Band aid boxes if you do a Google search. http://google.com They would make a cute First aid kit for a collage student.
Thanks for posting links to pictures ( I need visual aid). I had not heard or seen these before but, I'm thinking they would be a great way to give gift cards to my girlfriends. Another project to work on, but first I have to find the tins.
Frantic Fran has them for $1.99 each. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. They have the handles and ATCs will fit in them.
FYI: The ones at Oriental Trade are too small for ATCs.
I also just saw some cute little band-aid style tins at the grocery store that contains bubblegum bandaids. It wasn't a smooth metal... part of the "label" is raised on the base and on the lid. Only $1.09 though...
I decorated mine with alcohol inks, then added ribbon (or twill tape) and a metal ribbon slide (with mini glue dots). I love them to store or give ATCs. I found some locally at my Archivers.
I did some for my kids' teachers for school starting. Filled them with candy and put a tag on them wishing them well this year. Told them to refill with candy or use as a pencil holder when empty. I had my gals do them at one of my monthly classes last month. Here are some ideas I gave them...Decorate for a little kid and fill with crayons. Deco for a woman and fill with jewelry. Deco for a little girl and fill with little girl jewelry. Deco for a birthday/Christmas/Graduation and fill with "foof" and a gift card. Great way to present a key to someone for a new car (fill with "foof" too!). Ideas are endless. We used Palette reinkers and alcohol, then stamped over that with Palettes. They are fun!!! :-)

I think it would be the perfect size for a Survival kit of some sort. It would hold a Chapstick, stick gum, emergency sewing kit, mini Sharpie marker, mini Post-it pad, or any number of other little things.
A matching set to use for desk supplies would be really cute. One for rubber bands, one for paper clips, one for push pins.

That's a great idea! I bought a bunch of these several months ago. Still haven't done anything with 'em yet! Trying to figure out if they'll sell well at a craft fair I have coming up in December.

On, the post that gave the 3 samples (Page 1) the one sample she said she sanded it then painted. Sooooo, are you sanding off most of the color of the tin??? Then painting then sealing??? The ouch-less gum tins are bright pink, with other wild colors so would I pretty much sand off the color??
I'm working on some Christmas presents,
Using a Band-aid box. I ordered mine through. http://www.ktcrafts.com/catalog/item...55/3307080.htm
They are great!
I found out something the other night when I was adding TAC paper to the tin.... I didn't want to put paper on the top of the tin, So I used my Palette Landscape Green ink spot. to color the lid.
And WOW! it looks great, Matches the paper's pretty well. I then added some other Stamped images to the lid of the tin. and Stamped images on the paper as well that is wrapped around the tin.
That's as far as I have gotten with it.
Have fun!
