Default What Fabric Marker do you recommend?

I need to purchase a pack of fabric markers!
They need to be permanent, at least a 18 color variety, and preferably a (somewhat) fine tip. Does anyone have any suggestions of what brand and where to buy?
I will be using them on hand sewn zipper pouches, coin purses, etc. not so much clothing.
What are your experiences with fabric markers? Do sharpies work?
Thanks a bunch!

Dharma Trading Company is a great online store, with a very good selection of fabric markers. They describe the properties of each set in some detail, and if you have questions you can email them and get a timely response. I've ordered from them several times and been very pleased. I've also been in their brick and mortar store in Berkeley, and found them very helpful there too. Here are their fabric markers: Dharma Trading Co. :

Tsukineko make Fabrico markers that have both a brush and bullet tip. It's the same ink as the Versacraft pads so just heat set and it's permanent (and OK to wash). There are 36 colours - you can see them all on the Tsukineko web site here.

HTH!
