Nope! I spent about 45 mins walking around to find something....ended up with a bracelet display thing for my daughter...$5.99....seemed like a waste, maybe I'll get candy or something this time. You are right..everything in the store seems to be onsale...maybe some duct tape or spray paint, nothing I could find in stampin etc.
The only thing I ended up finding (after looking forever) was a bottle of zip dry paper glue that was $5.99. I like using this for assembling cricut cuts, so I was happy with a bottle for $.99.

I had never heard of Zip Dry, so just did a little research on it....I'm off to J's tomorrow to buy a bottle. Thanks.
i thought i was just not concentrating! i had trouble finding something in the papercraft area, too... and i was determined to find two things, because i had two coupons, and my mom was gonna ring up the other one for me.
i got jewelry supplies... a pack of Bead Stoppers --which i never seem to have enough of-- reg. $6.99 and string of glass topaz colored beads for a project I'm gathering supplies for. It also was $6.99.
...but i was really excited that i found 2 full-size VersaMagic chalk ink pads for $1.97 each
Originally, I picked up 2 xyron refills to use the coupons on... but apparently someone removed the sale sign. I looked and looked, no sign, so I thought I was safe LOL! After the long wait in line, she told me they were on sale. Back to the drawing board. Haha!
Wow, that's why I love this site! I just set aside my JoAnn's mail without really looking at it! Luckily the coupon is good for a few more days! Can't wait to browse around. Do they still carry Martha Stewart stuff?
I used one, and didnt realize that it expired on the 12th...oh well, guess I lose out, but there was really not much to buy anyway...was a nice thought though
i think it might depend on your joann... but i've never seen martha stewart at mine :( hope you find something!
My JoAnn's carries MS stuff. In my store it is over by the preprinted cards and just past the cake making stuff. They also have a bunch of SpellBinders there too. But have some SpellBinders with the papercrafting stuff. They also put MS stuff in the seasonal (Christmas, Valentine's, St Pat's, etc) area. Sometimes it feels like a game of Hide and Seek. LOL I think that is why they ask "Did you find everything Okay?" when you check out. I usually say "Yeah, but you hid some stuff pretty good."
I had 2 of the $5 off coupons. Was at J's on Sat. Everyone was right. Everything is on sale. I finally got a puzzle for my nephew ($5.99) and a 25 ft roll of adhesive backed magnet tape ($5.99). I use it to hold the Spellbinders dies on pages in a binder. Now I just need to get more dies! hahaha It's a vicious circle!
I bought a 3pack of Scotch double sided tape for $.53 w/tax. Even though I have a tape gun, I still sometimes use the tape too. Our Joann's here in the prairie land are awful. I moved here from NE Ohio where they are based, so I was used to the big stores. Nothing to ever buy here except adhesives.
I bought a white-lead refillable pencil in the quilting area (Fons & Porter) that was $12.99 regular price. I know it's not technically a paper crafting item, but it works so fine for marking guidelines on dark paper, and it erases away without leaving a trace.
Both at Joann's and Michael's, I've discovered that I need to wander the entire store. Some of the best stuff I've used isn't considered a papercrafting item
I bought the Cricut paper trimmer. I needed new blades for my fiskars, but they were out of them so I thought I would give it a shot. I love it. It has a tab at the end that locks it down when you are cutting. It was $10 regular price.
