What did I do wrong?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if someone can explain what happened. I used SU blender pens to make in color markers. I added about 6-7 drops of re-inker(s) guava and purely pomegrante to each end. They have been stored flat since before X-mas, initially they worked great. Yesterday I decided to use the guava, it is now a very pretty light shade of pomegrante, definately NOT guava. Also happened to the homemade wasabi/cool carribean one too. I soaked the tip of each marker in a small medicine cup and kept adding re-inker until it would absorb no more. Do you think I added too much re-inker? Or what? Thanks, Linda

I'm not sure what happened with your pens. I made markers with the Versamark pens and re-inkers and have had no problems. I hope you find out what went wrong.

Sounds like the color got pulled into the chamber of fluid from the tip. Both tips pull from the same liquid in the main chamber. PP is a more dominant color than GG so if any of the PP got sucked into the barrel, that will contaminate your GG end.

I believe you are only supposed to use one marker for each color, not one per end.

Since they share a core - anything you put in one end will go to the other end - one color per blender pen and you should be fine.
