I love my watercolor wonder crayons. I only have the earth elements right now, but am planning on getting the regals soon. I also have the watercolor pencils and have not used them for a while.
I voted watercolor pencils because that's what I have, and I'm pretty happy with them. I especially like them for smaller images.
I also use plain old semi soft pan watercolors -- I don't buy the real cheapies but even the good ones are pretty inexpensive. They're great for doing washes and larger images.
Last time I was at my LSS, the owner was showing me some cool techniques with Watercolor crayons. She's such a good little enabler -- it's just a matter of time before I have those as well.

I chose 'other', because I prefer to use Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits to color images, especially if there are large areas to fill. But I use reinkers/pads and a water pen or paint brush too. It depends on what I am doing. I don't have the crayons, but I really like using them when my demonstrator demonstrates them! I have decided that I don't like watercolor pencils.

I voted for re-inkers, etc, Although I seldom use the actual re-inker. It's just too convenient to whip out the 'ole aquapainter and smoosh the lid down on my ink pad!!! I also really like the transparency of the ink, it's a clearer color and less "muddy" imho than the Crayons.
But... I love the look of my WC Crayons when I want a bit more opacity and I do LOVE the Prisma/mineral spirits when I want multiple colors shaded together. My problem is that I'm often in a rush and too lazy to dig out my pencils.
I voted for reinkers and watercolor brushes because before I got into rubber stamping, I did watercolor painting. I'm so used to using some type of ink/paint with a brush, that's what I'm most comfortable using and what I'm best with. I have a bunch of watercolor pencils also and some watercolor crayons but I always tend to automatically grab my inks and paint brush before I grab anything else. Plus, I like the strong colors I can get with the reinkers and brush.
I voted for other because I just use the stamp pad. I have all of the colors so I love this method. All you need is the stamp pad and an aqua painter. It is wonderful!
I usually still use the ink on the lid of my stamp pads, but only because my confidence at any other technique is not good. I would LOVE to try the other ways, but I just don't feel confident enough!
I have the WC crayons and just love them. I also still use my pads but I never use my watercolor pencils anymore or my chalks. It is just so much easier for me to blend my colors and highlight were I need to with my pencils. I actually watercolored a card today which I hope to load this week I used my WC crayons on it. Happy Stamping
I voted for other because I use several methods. Sometimes I use the WWCrayons with the aquapainter, which I love because the colors match so well. Then another time I might use Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I have used ink pad ink squooshed into the lid and an aquapainter, but I'm definitely not real adept at that method...I have better success in shading and blending with the crayons or Prisma pencils. Definitely not real versed in any of them, but am having a ball practicing.

I love using my watercolor crayons with the blender pen, but the crayon points aren't fine enough for small areas, and then I'm disappointed with the results. Any suggestions?

It depends on what I'm going for. I love the crayons, because they make me feel like a real artist! (which I'm not). I also use reinkers and the aquapainter for a brighter, more intense color. I am still not any good at my Prismas and OMS, sadly, but I keep trying!

thats a great answer one that I was trying to find thank you for explain that a bit more
I'd probably use the watercolor crayons more but I've been doing other things lately. In the past (before I had the WC) I only used the pencils. I use my PP and OMS the most at this point.

Can you sharpen the WC crayons? I love mine, but have been feeling lately like they're getting dull and that makes it tought to color in smaller spaces...
Right now, I watercolor with my markers and a Dove blender. I scribble the markers into wells on a paint tray and then pick up the color with the Dove blender. I do have paints and crayons too.

I would love to say I use my Prisma pencils more, just don't. Maybe this craft/hobby is more "speed" than I originally thought it would be. The
"Artist" in me, lol, would like to think I really am! I'm just having fun with all the stuff to be honest!
Forgot to answer your question. I use the Prisma more than water color but now that we are talking about all of our options and supplies, I want to go out and sit under a tree with an easel and "paint with watercolor crayons!" What a romantic picture! Isn't this too funny? I just love using all the different techniques, finding that I don't have a particular favorite.
LOVE my watercolor crayons, and they're so portable - much easier for me than having to carry around 48 stamp pads (I don't have a stamp room so I have to retrieve everything from many locations when I stamp). But...I have to say, a very close runner-up is my Twinkling H20's, which I probably reach for as often as the wwcs.

I voted for watercolor pencils but I often like to use them combined with SU markers. I use the markers around the edges, anywhere I want a dark intense color and then use the watercolor pencils to do the shading and the lighter parts. It works for me. I have set of 48 Derwent watercolor pencils and I love them!
But I am interested in trying watercolor crayons and colored pencils with OMS - sounds like fun...
I voted for "other" because I like watercolours from the tube. I currently use Cotman Winsor & Newton watercolours. I like painting with both aquabrushes and regular art brushes.
