Versamark Pads-how to clean if an OOPS occurs.

I accidentally used a stamp inked with classic black ink directly onto my Versamark pad. Is it possible to clean the Versamark pad, is it still useable, or should I just pitch it?

you can still use it. I do this all the time. The versa mark also helps pull ink off stained stamps if your pad gets really dingy looking you can make it a stained stamp cleaner pad and replace it with a new one for stamping.

Nooo! Don't throw it away- and not just cause i am cheap- but because it will stamp fine!

Really, I didn't think Versamark would be any good once it had black ink on it. I will certainly use it again. Thanks so much for the tip.

my versmark stamp pad looks pretty colorful but it still does a wonderful job at what it's meant to do ;D

Mine has a blue snow globe stamped right in the middle (DD was using it and didn't clean the stamp first) and it's been that way for almost a year. Stamps just fine.
