Does anyone know if Michaels or joannes carries it yet?
I saw it at our Michaels today...both colors; 9.99 each. I almost bought one, but I'm glad I didn't, because when I checked out I got a 50% off coupon for any one regular priced item. I may go back tomorrow and pick one up for 1/2 price.:-D
I have seen it on Ellen Hutson "The Classroom" but I wasn't too thrilled with it. Now watch me cave and buy some when someone does something fantastic with it! I agree about it looking subtle - I think I would like it better if it were really shiny or sparkly. It was a little too subtle for me, but maybe it looks better IRL.
Good luck trying to find this! Our Achiver's had it BRIEFLY, but sold out of it before I could get there. Our Michael's doesn't have it either. I've asked / looked at several other stamp stores and they all plan to get it, but it's backordered or something.....
I bought both from Ellen Hutson and was excited for what I thought were the possibilities. I used them on this card HERE with clear embossing powder, thinking that the shimmer would remain. Unfortunately, it just looked like regular Versamark with clear EP. Oh well - live and learn. Maybe they'll pump up the glitter volume and revamp them.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I have some of it in stock at my store. Made 2 samples using both, and sold out of the Frost immediately. There's a little bit of sparkle on the Frost card, and obviously people liked it because they bought it immediately. The Champagne has no impact at all. I actually have 8 ladies taking a Christmas card class in my office/classroom right now, and one asked about the Dazzle so I got the Champagne pad out for them to try. No one likes it at all. It has no ooomph whatsoever. Don't waste your money. I can see Tsukineko putting out a "new and improved" 6 months from now. I've even been debating sending them an email with my opinion. Here are 2 cards I did with it.... don't let my enthusiasm in the blog post influence you. I was trying to be excited about it to sell to my customers, but it's a flop!

Thank you. I will not be buying it until they make it more sparkly.
I appreciate everyones honest opinions. That is just one of the reasons why I love SCS!
I was looking for more informations about this product when I see this post !!! Thamks Stampertammy for your opinion .. You wrote in Dic 2008, has any comment since this date ???? Nobody are happy with this product ???
I have 2 of these pads and love them both. They are not blaring in your face sparkle like glitter would be. I don't think that was the intention. They are a more subtle glimmer of sparkle. I've used them on both very light color paper and also on dark black, blue, green, brown and purple. I really like the effect.
I use Stazon to clean the stamp immediately after stamping the image before doing anything else.
I agree, not as much sparkle as I was expecting. Works better on dark cs, like a shiny watermark. Powder embossing it looks exactly the same as the regular versamark.
BUT, it works very nice if you use it with an embossing folder/plate. Coat the plate using a brayer, put on your paper and run it through the machine. Very nice effect...the raised parts will have some subtle sparkle/shine.
But if you were wanting glittery, don't waste your money on this.

I was not impressed with it. It left shimmer on the stamps, and takes a long time to clean off, but barely any shimmer on the stamped images themselves.
When I read this post (a few days ago), I decided to find more about this product and after read what you write here, I was disapointed .... I look for nicole's blog to see another time the image ... and sudenly I see what she do !!!!!! I think that the secret of this product is that it would be perfect to fill the image ... I don't know if you undesstand me, It's terrible to have a lot of ideas in my head and I can write them because I have not enough vocabulary !!!!!!
What do you think ??' It's not for stamp with it but, after stamp your image on paper, after you put the color (ink, copic, pencil ...) you put your image on the pad and after it's shinny ...
Look what Nichole write at the end of the post:
"All I did was tap the entire pad on the image's surface. It's now is super shimmery and really eye catching! And it was quick and easy to do with virtually no waiting on drying time. No messy glitter or glue! "
Are you agree with what I write ?????
Thank you again for your help. Internet is fantastic. I'm in another point of the world and I can speak with you in an another country !!!!!!
A lot of kiss from Spain. It's very hot here because is summer (40celsius !! I don't know in farenheit but it's a lot !!!!!)
I seen this in my LSS today and I was very excited to see it!!! I didn't buy it since I ran in and out quickly. But I thought about getting it next week. After reading the posts, I dont see that it's worth it!! Thanks for everyone's input!!! You are wonderful!!

another not work the money!! It looks great when you first stamp it and then when it dries it's like there is nothing there. Save your $$ for something else.
I used Champagne Versamark Dazzle on SU Creamy Caramel card stock to try to make it look like sand. It worked wonderfully well. It looked like a sparkly beach. I believe the sparkle effect might show up best on light-colored paper. I love it!

I like them both, but they are subtle. I think it looks best when used as a background on darker colored card stock.
HOWEVER< best use I have found, is to buy the re-inkers - and mix with alcohol for the BEST and cheapest spray misters with a beautiful strong sparkle to them! I even went out and bought more Ranger misters and have mixed up about a dozen different color misters, using either the frost or the champange re-inkers.
NOT MESSY! Easy to mix - you do have to remember to shake the sprayers before each use. Be sure to use ALCOHOL (90%) is best but (70%) works too. If you try water, it will clog! Just a few drops from the re-inker bottle is all you need - then a few drops of dye ink (or not) and fill remainder of mister with alcohol. It is great stuff and so much cheaper than all those new spritzer brands out there!
I HAVE USED IT ON CARDS, IT DID NOT GIVE ME THE EFFECT I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO DO. I REALLY COULD NOT SEE MUCH OF THE DAZZLE PART AT ALL. I WANT BACK TO THE REGULAR
YOU CAN BUY IT MICHAELS, JOANN'S I HAVE SEEN IT AT BOTH, IF THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK AT THE TIME

Reason: WANTED TO ADD SOMETHING ELSE
I guess I'm in the minority here but I LOVE both the champagne and frost!! Very subtle? Yes, but that is what I enjoy about them. I use both frequently for background stamped images, large images work best. Just a hint of sparkle. I got both at Michaels using my 50% off coupons. They have been selling out quickly here in my area. I have many glitter forms and use them as well but sometimes a card just calls for subtle hints and I find these do not overpower the card. Mine remain close at hand with my most frequently used inks.
