Default using pens on stamps....

I know I have heard of people using pens on their stamps to get detailed colors where they want it - but what type of pen do you use? Can you use the Zig writers? If you use a pigment ink will it stain the rubber? Help me understand please!

Thanks...

You can use markers or watercolor crayons. I'm not really sure about pigment staining any more than a regular pad pigment ink would but then again, I'm not all that knowledgable. I use the Stampin' Write markers and will use the crayons as soon as I can get them (tee hee).

I used zig writers on mine and they stained, now I have the stampin write markers and they work loads better. The image looks better and you don't have to breathe on them to stamp, so I can do a better job if I only want a partial image, and don't want a ghost image on the part that was not suppose to print. I always got this when I would have to breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Hope this helps.
