First question, there was thread awhile ago about a spray for punches that lubricates them so they work better, anyone remember this? I can't seem to find it. Second question, will this punch work for evergreen on a holiday card?
Not sure about the spray, but that punch makes AWESOME holiday cards. I've seen wreaths made with several shades of green punched multiple times and arranged in a wreath shape, with little "ornaments" attached and a ribbon bow. Beautiful.
It's not a spray that I have but a set that you brush on. One is a cleaner and the other is called Cutter Glide. It lubricates cutting tools like punches and the residue doesn't stain paper. I've used it and it seems to work pretty well. Cut@home has the set:
I read a post where you can punch a piece of wax paper and it lubricates them and if you want to sharpen the blade you punch a piece of aluminum foil.
Hope this helps
I was at our local hardware store with my husband and he pointed out the WD-40 in a "No-Mess Pen". It is actually the look and size of a highlighter pen. It has a slant edge felt tip that works great on little nooks and cranies of a punch. After you have applied it punch a scrap of paper a few times until the oil no longer shows. A little goes a long way. I think I paid $3 or $4 for it, don't remember, but it has lasted me a long time and it's easy to store along side my other pens.

I saw a tutorial were you used a pop can to sharpen your punches. It looked like it worked great. I can't remember whose turtorial it was. They are doing a 'stampbusters' type tutorial for the year.
I'm thinking about using that punch with an ornament stamp for gift cards/tags, and I like using the small xyron to attach adhesive, called the little xyron sticker maker, I guess

What size is the MS punch? I'm looking for a really small one for my cardmaking.
Also, I went to Cut@Home to see about the kit for lubicating the punches but they do not take Paypal. Anyone know of another estore which has this item and takes Paypal?

This is a fabulous tip! I love when I can just look in my pantry for a solution! Thanks
I can't be sure, but Martha Steward has one called Fern. I have it and it is awesome. Very delicate. It sure looks a lot like the one shown.
Thanks Teresa!
I only have a couple of punches and this one struck my fancy. Guess I'll be taking a trip to Micheal's today...oh this place is hard on my wallet!! ;)

Please Pooga, let's not even go there!! I was doomed when they began accepting my Joann's coupons.
I also love their dollar stamps. I have created some of my best work using those little guys!!

It's my friend, Linda Heller's, blog. Here's the link.
I think you can get Cutter glide at Blockheads.com and overstock.com or maybe contact the company directly, (maybe they accept paypal?) Cutter glide comes with some ez tool that does a great job on cleaning off the gunk on my spellbinders' dies. I also heard it works great and is safe for acrylic stamps. I will be checking that out soon with my Christmas cards.
