I have been looking for a tote that Michaels carried during the Christmas season. I did not buy one than and now I wished I had. I belive it is called the Scrap Paper Scissors tote? It was in the pink/brown (my favorite color) and 2 other colors. I went to ebay tonight and they have a few but my goodness they want 24.99 -60.00 plus shipping. Than of course there is the shippping. My question is do any of you know where I might be able to purchase one of these on an on-line store?
I'm not sure if you're talking about the same one I have or not. It's an All My Memories Tote-ally Cool in brown and pink. There are a lot of online stores that carry them, and JoAnn's and AC Moore do too. Here's one from Keeping Memories Alive at 25% off right now. It's the Large size. I have it, and it's incredible. It holds a lot more than it looks like it would.
The one the poster is talking about is different than the one in the link. I asked my family for the bag for Christmas, should've just bought it myself! Of course they didn't get it for me. After Christmas I went to several Michaels and was told it was a special purchase item for the holidays and that the company would not be making anymore. That is why the cost is so high on Ebay (I have been watching them too).
The one featured in the link is just different - the one thing I don't like about it is that the handle is one whole piece, so it can't move out of the way. The retired model (for one is to die for cute!) but much more rectangle and 'open'
As much as I want it - I refuse to pay the Ebay prices for it, that would be silly!
I just did a search on the web and came across the message board for Michael's. Someone had asked about when the totes would be in the store, it may be a different one they are talking about but the Michael's.com editor said a Scrap Paper Scissors tote would be in the stores around the middle of April. Maybe with the popularity of them, they decided to bring them back. I want one, too, but not bad enough to pay Ebay's prices either.
I agree with you- the design of the Michael's bag is PERFECT in every way- and i am kicking myself for not picking up 2 (i did buy one as a gift!) silly me...
I have one and I LOVE it. If they come back out I want to pick one up to put between the front seats of my car. It would be perfect to hold "odds & ends" there!!!
I take it to workshops with me & am always asked about it. If they come back to Michaels', I should buy a whole bunch of them & resell them (the closest Michaels is 7 hours away!)

I just bought one... and love it! Went back to buy another one as a gift and they were gone. A rep from Michaels had said that it was a Christmas item and was being discontinued...
I thought i'd get one too, but alas, didn't. BUT, I saw something pretty similar at our Target. It was smaller but same sort of colors and design. Might want to check there. But I would bet Michaels will get them back.
It was $20 regular price, so $25 isn't TOO bad... $60 is ridiculous though. Now, considering that they were on sale at times and coupons, you could get it a lot cheaper if they actually make more...
I asked about them back when they had them and they said they never know when they will send stuff like that...it is not part of the regular lines that they carry. BUT bringing them back after the holidays would sound reasonable because they are using that space for holiday items now.

Thanks for starting this thread! I, too, asked for this for Christmas and didn't get it! I had already bought myself something for my b-day and couldn't justify buying the tote, too! I really hope they do bring them back in April. I have been looking for one since they went on sale at Michael's after Christmas. Mine Michael's didn't have any to have on sale!! The prices they want for them on E-Bay are insane! I am not paying that much for a perfect tote! No matter how bad t want one! Oh, I like the blue & brown one best!
I fyou are looking for the bag that Angel posted, I thought I saw some at Michael's when I was there on Sunday. I didn't go down the aisle, but I thought I saw similar ones (different colors than the pink and brown - they looked like brighter colors). They had quite a few. I'm pretty sure I saw a color similar to tempting turquoise. Let me know if you would like me to look for you. I will probably be back to the store on Saturday to use my 30% coupon.
I went to Michael's on Friday and they have these totes back in -- and in different colors like dark plum/brown and turquoise/brown. Hope this helps and you can still find them--they do seem to go quickly. I have a solid black one and absolutely love it! It is the perfect size.
I have this tote and LOVE it! I also bought the turn-table to go with it so now it sits on my craft table with all my essential supplies and I can just spin it around to find what I need.

I am in the same boat as the rest of you. I am desperately seeking the one that you have pictured in your photo. That was the color I had wanted too. I had no idea at the time that it was a seasonal item.
If anyone sees these totes anywhere, PLEASE let me know.
They don't have the light blue this time around...but they do have a brighter turquoise. There were several in my Mike's a few days ago when I went. And judging by the number up on Ebay, they're more readily available again. Maybe they'll be a more regular item now. That said, I just got an AMM tote...one of the new ones...and having compared it side by side, like it LOTS more, even if it did cost more.
I went back to M's again today to buy another one for 50% off and they had restocked them . . . now I have a backup one. they were out of the all black ones. but had plenty of the blue, pink & purple ones.
