Default top note die

I am wondering if you can use this with the Cuttlebug. That is the only die cutting machine that I have. Thanks.

I think the 'Top Note' die is one of the Bigz dies so it would be thick. (I have one on order but have other Bigz dies.) If this is the case, the CB sandwich would be B-die foam side up-c/s-B. Set the die slightly back on the plate so that the full width of this sandwich isn't going through the openining from the get go. If the sandwich I mentioned doesn't completely cut the c/s, try adding c/s shims one at a time. I would not be able to put a Bigz die through with the 'A' plate.

I don't use the A plate for the Sizzix BigZ dies, just B plate, die, cardstock, B plate. Otherwise it doesn't fit. There is "recipe" in the cuttlebug instructions manual

Red face Update and alert

Thanks for the update on my post. I just used the die and panicked big time when I realized I had said to use the A plate. Hope nobody broke their bug because of my post.

I've been using my top note and now the paper sticks on to the little metal teeth and I have to yank the paper off the die. Am I doing something wrong? It was fine for the first 50 or so cuts and not the cs gets stuck on the die. Ideas?

hmmmm.... the sandwich I use is B plate-cs-Bigz die facing down-B plate and I've had no problems. I got these instructions out of the owner's manual. I just noticed a lot of you said to put the die facing up??
