Default TODAYS TARGET BARGAINS! I THINK I NEED HELP!

I just got back from Target and went a little crazy there. I filled my cart with all the scrapbook clearance stuff they had. They have cardstock, stickers, fiskars stuff, making memories stuff, scrapbook kits, stickers, prima, ribbon, acrylic stamps and blocks, albums, sizzix. Nice Making Memories cardstock pad for only 1.74 .
I got two alphabet sets for my sizzix for 25.98. (they retail for 100.00 each). I do plan on using most of the items and the rest will be used as gifts to all my scrapbook/card making friends.

I must go hide this now b4 my dh gets home.
Would this act classify me as "smart" shopper or a "compulsive" shopper?

I went to a Target yesterday and all of their scrapbooking stuff was still normal price and the dollar bins were practically empty! They were remodeling the store so who knows when theirs will go on sale! Evidently all of the Targets aren't the same at the same time. I was looking for the dollar items. Good luck to everyone.

OMG!! That is a lot of stuff. If you will use it, then you are a smart shopper. Note to self - when I go to Target this week avoid the scrapbook aisle. Target is dangerous place when it comes to sale stuff!!

What area of the country are you in? How much % off was the clearance? That is how I shop too but I am running out of room.

Talking Not all Targets price the same.

My SIL just got back from her local Target and said all the scrapbook stuff was only 30%-50% off. My store had the clearance items marked 75%-80% off retail. I quess not all Target stores clearance the same stuff or mark down on the same day. I could not resist buying pads of cardstock for only 1.74 and acrylic stamp sets for only 2.24. Sizzix for 1.24,Making memories paints and chipboard for 1.24. I hope some of you can get the great deals like I did today.

My SIL agrees that I am a very smart compulsive shopper.(I might add that she is now on her way to my local Target to get some deals).

My friend went yesterday and got a bunch of stuff too, but when I went to one there was NOTHING marked down and the next one I went to everything was almost sold out, the Sizzix weren't marked down that much, but I did get some Primas. Lucky, lucky girl!

OMG! I dont know if my Target will have anything good, they never seem to have a Dollar Spot that everyone talks about. We even have a Super Target that I would think would have this stuff. Great buy and also, I would have to hide my stash too..I'm a compulsive shopper as well..I'm running out tomorrow, thanks for telling me..I could use some Primas too.

Man... and to think I was excited to buy a Brita water pitcher at Target today and got a free $5 gift card. I did walk through the scrapbooking section (and check the end caps for clearance items). I'm thinking the Target store in Fargo just doesn't get the "good" stuff in the dollar section.

Congratulations on your great buys!!!

HOLY JACKPOT, Batman! Good for you! Oooh, it's such a tingly feeling to score some deals. I like peeling off the clearance tags to see how much they were originally. ;) That always makes me feel - uh - better for shopping.

Wow, my Target doesn't carry Sizzix, or much crafty stuff at all for adults. They do have a whole aisle of Crayola and RoseArt kits for kids, though. That's OK, I bought 5 Sizzix alphas and a number set at Michaels the other day on their big clearance, grand total of $80.

Here in CT all the sizzix was gone - it was there for regular price a couple of weeks ago...I missed it. I did however spend way too much in the dollar spot...almost wish I didn't see this post!!! I had to have it all though! Maybe this time I will actually use what I bought!!! ;-)

What an inspiring stash, Stampin4TK! Looks like fun!

Does this mean that Target is not going to carry scrapbooking/crafting stuff in the future? Why is all of it on clearance? Are they replacing it with something else/better? Does anyone know?

They are just getting rid of all the seasonal stuff to make room for the Halloween and Christmas crafts and scrapbook stuff. They did this last year around the same time(I missed the sale last year). They had some interesting kits for Halloween by Making Memories and some Jolees that looked cute.

For kicks I added all the retail prices of my stuff and found that the retail price for my little exursion was $750.00. ( I spent only $115.00)

Stampin4tk, you ROCK!! I went to my Target earlier today to pick up some photos and other things and headed to the scrapbooking aisle. THey only had one Sizzlits set left, Lime Light, and I got it! 75% off!!! It went from $109.99 to $27.98! Woohoo! I was just telling dh that I was gonna cut back this month and then I read your post! Oh well, I did save a lot of money. Congrats on your score and thanks for the enabling!

I went to Target on Monday and our scrapbooking stuff was only marked down to 30%. I really want the Sizzix alphabets, but I'm hoping they'll get marked down a little more first.

Hooray, someone else got a bargain! There are so many cool die cut machines out there but I still love my sizzix machine and the sizzlit machine. My friend got the large sizzix machine at Joanns the other day for $11.00.

I have the wizard machine so I can use all of the die cut brands! I just LOVE getting them at great bargains!!!

Target is a dangerous place for me any time. It is not very close to where I live, so when I finally get there....every 3-4 months...I go nuts. I can never contain myself, if it is sale stuff all the better, my cart bulges.

My Target was pretty well picked over, no sizzix, but did get a couple of cardstock packs, and some mm paints. Best of all, I found a mm instant setter for 6.24, I had been eyeing that in my TAC catalog.
