Default Tim Holtz tiny attacher/mini stapler

Has anyone used this mini attacher with tiny staples yet? It looks adorable! I saw it at scrapbook.com

thanks,

I used it at demo day at my LSS and love it. The staples are really tiny which is a good thing for me... people will know that they're a special touch since they can't be mistaken for regular staples and then assumed to be cheap (or ugly or "not right" etc). I stapled through silk ribbon and some cardstock. It was a little pennant flag that has been hanging from the ribbon attached only by the staples for months. I didn't notice anything weird about how it stapled etc... If Michael's or HL carries this I will buy it with a coupon. I'm tempted to get one without a coupon. I'm just worried that I wouldn't use it enough.

I have to admit I bought one a couple of months ago and have yet to use it. It is awfully cute though!

I've been debating to buy one. It's on sale at scrapbookingalley.com with free shipping. It's so cute. Thinking od using it to attach ribbon on the card. Anyone has any pictures of your creations?

I feel like this is one of those things that I would never use. Also, I've seen 1/4" staples at the regular office supply store. Here's a super cheap one:http://www.instawares.com/tot-mini-s...i79141.0.7.htm

And not to be completely down on this, but I'd like to know how "safe" something like this is for scrapbooks. Will they rust or otherwise not be good for photos? One of my scrapbook pet peeves is not knowing if a product is safe or not to use.

I have one and love it! The staples are small and they go through ribbons and materials very easily!!

I found one on clearance at Joann's today for $7.97. I thought I'd wait to open it until I found out if I can find staples for it when I run out.

I love it. It makes adding embellishments and making pockets so easy and very stable. I add to my inventory of staples refills every now and then to build up my spare staple stash.

Rust is only an issue with metal if you have moisture. If you have moisture in your scrapbooks, you have a bigger issue than rust!

The box of staples it comes with will last you quite a while. I've had mine over a year, use it regularly, and am still on my first box of staples. So, pull it out of the package and start using it!

I really like it and use it often. As someone already said, It adds stability to pockets and is amazing for securely attaching ribbon and lace to a card. If you don't like how the staples look, add a row of gemstones, a strip of patterned paper, or ribbon over them.

I love mine. It has a longer reach than the tot and I think the staples are smaller. I saw some Tim Holtz stuff at HL today and I think I saw the stapler, though, I know it can vary from store to store.

I was looking at this at Michaels yesterday, but my biggest concern is that since the staples are shorter than standard, someday they may quit making it and then how do I get staples? I suppose I could buy a few boxes and will never run out?? Is there any other stapler out there with the longer reach? This one seems to have a better reach than most, but I want to reach to the middle of a card.

This stapler is worth getting the extra boxes of refills IMO because it is heavy duty and has that long reach. I even used it to fix a folding door curtain LOL when nothing else was working and it did a perfect job

Okay, so the 50% off coupon was calling me today! LOL. Picked the tiny attacher up at ACMoore's this morning! Also bought a box of staples, but I plan to get at least two more boxes in case they quit selling this. I want to make sure I can use my new investment wayyyy into the future!

YAY !! This quality gadget has really added to the joy of my crafting because it truly does make things easy to attach, especially those things that would otherwise be very tricky Hope you like it..............

I broke down yesterday and used my 50% at Mike's and got one, it's SO cute! Can't wait to use it on projects. Tim needs to come out with colored staples for it now!

This is one of those tools I never thought I needed. Well, I got one with a GC, and I must say I LOVE this thing! I use it all of the time, and I like it better than my regular stapler!!! It really staples flat so it doesn't leave things lumpy. I love the reach on it, and it is nice on my hand (I have carpal tunnel). Love, love, love it! One of my favorite tools actually! Who would have thought?

I was wondering if the staples come in different colors. I have seen the plain gray metal ones but was hoping they came in black too. Does anyone know?

I think they only come in the metal. Someone mentioned that you can color them with copics, but I haven't tried it yet.

Ok thanks - I don't have Copics but I suppose any permanent marker would work. Thanks for the idea.

Alcohol inks will work too but might be a little messier than using markers.
