I'm looking everywhere on line and off line. No where to be found as far as I can tell. Frantic stamper says that they are not in stock and won't be until some time in June.

Dotty......do an internet search for it. It will explain what it is and all that you can do with it. I believe Tim Holtz does have a video on his site for it, though it's more advertisement than explainatory.
It's a multi function ruler that can be used for paper piercing among other things. Also seems to be very useful for accurate centering.
Now I just need to find one that's not out of stock.
I've had mine for a couple of months now. I love it! I got it at my LSS in Halifax. That's Canada eh!
I love it, it is a perfect tool for lining up piercing. Perfect every time. It is clear so you can see through it to your project. the lines on it are in a grid so it helps for accurate measurement.

I was beginning to think they were a figment of my imagination. I've been looking for one for a long time both in-store and online and was convinced they didn't exist  and quit looking. Now I'll start keeping my eyes open again in hopes of actually getting my hands on one ;)

I think that as soon as splitcoast people started to rave about the ruler there was an unexpected rush! We may have caused the problem ourselves by making an item too popular lol I have been trying to get one for months now! (I think we may have also caused the Swiss Dot cuttlebug problem!).
Our first shipments sold out super-fast, and we re-ordered in March, but the manufacturer was sold out already and couldn't ship re-orders. We're told that manufacturing problems caused the delay, but as Tim told Kathryn, the rulers are expected to start shipping to stores sometime next week. We're just two days in transit from our supplier, so we hope to have a huge number VERY soon. We can't wait to get all the backorders shipped.
I'm just guessing, but I order from a lot of companies. Any products manufactured in China seem to be held up. No one is talking, but when I jokingly say "What's the problem, a slow boat from China?" they laugh and say yes.
After searching for months to get one, I lucked out at The Great American Scrapbook Convention the beginning of June and one of the vendors there had them. It is wonderful for lining up your brads straight and even.
Just a note for those of you who have been searching for the Tim Holtz Design Ruler... a long-awaited shipment of these finally arrived today -- Friday, June 20 -- at Bonnie's Best Art Tools.

I can't believe you found one in Arlington! That was the ONE thing I was SEARCHING for!
I have one of his rulers and it is great but......Joann.com sells one that is identical to Tim's and have it in stock. I think the only difference is that I am not sure if it has the punchholes in it but hey....it beats not having one at all
Yesterday I saw one from Making Memories... It's a 6" instead of 12," which for me that would have been fine as I'll use it almost exclusively for cards. I'm one of the lucky ones who got the TH one, so don't need another, but if you can't find TH's, maybe this will work instead.
FranticStamper.com has them at the moment, because Fran was able to add one in on my last order just before she shipped it. Well, she had them in stock last weekend, at any rate!!
ETA, I think the Judikins ruler I already have is very similar except for the holes - clear, grid, one metal edge. I think, though, that Tim Holz's one might be inches and the Judikins is centimetres. I am forever losing it - I reckon if I have two I'll spend less time looking for one of them, it will turn up when I tidy at the end of the evening. All my DH's fault, he borrowed my steel ruler and it's still downstairs and he says he still needs it!

I bought one yesterday from Art Gone Wild. They happened to be set up at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Chantilly,Va. Spellbinders was also set up there - need I say more
Loreen at Wish On A Scrap has a few Tim Holtz rulers in stock as of today if anyone is still interested. Mine was backordered but just shipped on Friday. Loreen was very good to work with and kept me abreast of the situation with the back order. I would recommend her webstore to my SCS friends.
Just wanted to say I got my Tim Holtz design ruler in the mail today. It is an awesome tool. I got it at Wish On A Scrap if anyone is still looking for a source.
We just got one of our re-orders of the Tim Holtz rulers back in stock at the store as well. We had 12 of them the first time and they sold out REALLY FAST. Then they've been on re-order since. :(
I was just able to get one at All that Scraps, but they sold out very fast. I was on an email notification list so I found out as soon as they were in stock. I got mine a few days ago and I love it!
