Smile Thought I would share about the Cuttlebug

Cuttlebug embossing folders work on your sizzix machine.
I have been reading how everyone is so excited about the bug. But I just couldn't justify buying another maching since I have a Sizzix and I got a Crucit for Christmas. So today I went to M's and bought a cuttlebug embossing folder, I took it home and it works on my Sizzix machine. It has probably already been mentioned but I was so excited I thought I would share. I just put a thin piece of wood under the cutting mat and it raises it up enough to emboss. If you want the measurements of the board just let me know. I haven't tried cutting yet but I am sure it would work.
I feel like I saved some money so I can buy more stamps.

if you have the sizzix converter for the sizzlit dies you don't need to use your piece of wood...and yes, with the converter the sizzix will cut with the cuttlebug dies just as it would with the sizzlits! Don't you love it when things work together?!
Have fun!

Smile Cuttlebug folders on the sizzix

Hi,
I too have a sizzix machine, and I've been interested in the cuttlebug dies and the folders. I would love it if you would share the dimensions of the board you used to make the cuttlebug embossing folder work on the sizzix machine. Thanks so much....Judi Farr

I can't wait to try this out! I have a sizzix and have been wanting a cuttlebug but reluctant to spend more money on something similar! I just need to get the converter and try it out! Thanks!

They work great with the converter! It was just in time for me because I needed thank you cards and whipped them right up with the embossing folder. I used vellum and just did a few sheets at a time and didn't press too hard. They were great!
