For the color changes last summer. I wasn't sure at all why you did it then, I now realize it was to break me out of my color rut. I am now firmly in love with Pear Pizzaz, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist and Cherry Cobbler. I have now become reacquainted with several neglected friends such as Certainly Celery, Garden Green and Perfect Plum through these new alliances. I have to say, i ran across a piece of a color I thought I'd dearly miss (name withheld) and didn't shed a tear. I simply shifted it over to the kid box for DDs friends to use and went on my way. Thank you for the "new" colors.

I thought you were going to thank them for your recent effort at stimulating the economy! My only wish is that they had more purples. Not sure why they felt they had to get rid of so many but yes, I do like the colors you have mentioned too. Just need some purples in the mix in my opinion.
I really don't miss the light purples like I thought I would. But then again, I do have a stash of Lovely Lilac and some Almost Amethyst too. I also do my share ot stimuate the economy.

I'm not a demo, but I am enjoying the new colors. Red is my favorite color and the Cherry Cobbler is just scrumptious. I also like greens. Wild Wasabi and Pear Pizazz are fabuous, though I do miss Mellow Moss.
Aside from the color change up, I'm thrilled with the clear mount stamps. I've unmounted all my SU wood mounted stamps and now I have a hard time buying anything that's not clear/cling mounted.
I'm also a Cherry Cobbler fan and LOVE Early Espresso and Marina Mist as well. I was also super excited to see some old favorites come back especially Baja Breeze and River Rock! Don't miss the old colors nearly as much as I thought I would.

It was such a huge overhaul but the new colors are wonderful!
I love Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz and also Early Espresso even tho I'm trying to hold off buying because it's so close to Chocolate Chip. I use CC so much but it looks like EE really has it's place too.
I haven't jumped on the Marina Mist boat yet as I have so many retired blues to use up. Love Baja...use it all the time.
Any sets that have the clear mount I buy instead because of $$$ savings but they drive me nuts! I'm a stamp and go kind of girl! Last night I was using Awash With Flowers and all those little stamps to keep track of....with two step stamping it is better to have cling stamps but they drove me nuts!
Can't wait for the new colors....I soooo wish they would bring back Cool Caribbean!

I'm a fan of the new colors too (and the clear mount stamps). I held onto some of the old colors I thought I would miss but now when I look at them I don't really like them anymore.
I love pear pizzazz if for no other reason it helps my left pinky get exercise! Makes me sad it is an in-color. I suppose I will get over it just like I did all my faves they discontinued. I hardly look at them any more either. I bought a lot to make sure I would be stocked up. I guess we should have trusted SU to make the right decision, hard as it was to accept at first.
I love clear mount and have unmounted over 100 sets, still have over 100 to go!
I love all their colors and am very sad that they have to retire anything. I think they should keep em all alive if someone wants to purchase them. Its jsut sad to see friends go and always happy to see new ones come tho. I hope they well bring some of the purples back too I liked using them as well and yes Cherry Cobbler is fantastic to work with.

really? I must have forgotten that tid bit. Great.
My demo explained to me that the In Colors will be around for 2 years now instead of just 1 year, but they will still introduce new In Colors every year, so we'll have 10 In Colors active at any one time. Then next year, 2010 In Colors will leave and new 2012 In Colors will join the 2011 In Colors.

That does make since or they would have to offer a odd number for a set...
