Default Texturz plates

I looked and didn't see anything mentioned about the new SU Texturz plates. I was wondering if anyone knows a recipe to use them in the Cuttlebug. I am going to order those, but would like to use them with my Cuttlebug as soon as I get them! I am not a demo, but a customer who got her new SU catalog today!

i saw mention in another thread and wrote this down...

'A' plate
embossing plate
paper
tan mat (spellbinder)
'C'

this is from another SCSer, not from experience. the 'recipe' is for use with a cuttlebug.

good luck!

Thanks momis mama. The plates are one of the few things I want from the new catalog, but wanted to now if they could be used in the Cuttlebug before I buy them. Now I can add them to my list!

to add my question: does anyone know how large the texturz plates are? would they completely cover a 4-1/4"x5-1/2" sheet?

I don't have the new SU ones but I am assuming they are the same as the other Sizzix Texturz plates. With the ones I have, the textured area is about 7 1/4" x 5 3/4", so yes it would totally cover a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" sheet rather well. I like that I can use them on my 5x7 cards and get the entire sheet textured. I just love my Texturz plates!:-D

my paper says... (big impressions with a cuttlebug for CS)

plate 'A'
texture plate
CS (card stock)
silicone rubber pad form BISK
impressions pad from BISK

*BISK- big impressions starter kit

this is info from the stack rules, not personal experience!
hope this helps

Couple of questions re plates. I have Fiskars as well as som Sizzix. I had to use the creasing pad ( red ) in the sandwich instead of the impressions plate. I just couldn't get it through the Big Shot with the black impressions pad. I will try later with my Wizard and see what happens.
