White CS. I LOVE SU! WW, but I want to start using white and or Vanilla as a base for all my cards and want a little more cost effective CS. I will use SU! for my imges. I have seen that folks use the georgia pacific CS from Wally world, but I do not like the weight and it seems to be greyish, NWIM. I did buy a pack of 12 x12 white in the Craft area I liked OK but still would like to find it in a larger quantity. SOOOO my question is what would you recommend?? Thanks, you guys ROCK!
Well, I use the white card stock from Wall Mart. Not sure what brand but mine doesn't really look gray? I know a lot of stampers also use Office Depot's white card stock. Maybe just experiment with a few different brands until you find what you like or just stick with Whisper White. Good luck.
Papertrey Ink's white cs is amazing!!!
I use it and SU! The quality is great!

You can also try "Staples" brand white cardstock. It is #110 weight and comes in pkgs of 250 sheets. I think in Canada it is just under $13.00 for the package. You can also get an assorted pack of colours, pink, blue, green, yellow, white that is also #110 weight and comes in pkgs of 100 sheets. I think it runs for just under $9.00 (Canadian).
Neena Classic Crest Solar White. It comes in a heavier weight which is great for card bases, and takes ink beautifully. Several stampers on this site have recommended it. I buy it at a local paper store, but I imagine it's available online.
I also use the white cardstock from Wal-Mart, but when I am stamping with solid image stamps the image appears blotchy to me. So for layering or stamping with outline stamps (you know the stamps you can color in) I use Wal-Mart paper, but when stamping with a solid image stamps I use SU's white paper. Anyone else run into Wal-Mart’s white cardstock making images blotchy.
I too love PT white. It's a fabulous heavy weight for card bases. I also have found a local supplier of Cryogen White (like SU shimmer white) and it's about $.22 per sheet. For that price, I've been using it for bases quite a bit too!!
Thank you all so so much. I am going to papers plus today to buy envelopes they have the best deal like 250 for $8 white or vanilla they now cary square 5.5 x 5.5 for .15 ea. I hope they have some white for a good deal. Thanks again I will definately be trying the PTI paper.
I second the Neenah paper. I got a really heavy weight to use for one layer cards, but it works great with additonal layers too. I get mine at Kelly Paper.

Yep! blotchy, Walmart paper is not great for solid images. For stamping I use Whisper White or Papertrey White. For coloring with Copics or layering I use Georgia Pacific from Walmart.

Do SU envelopes match Papertrey's white CS or do you buy their envies? I have so many SU envies and I like them to match the cards.
I use PT white cardstock almost exclusively and always with SU envelopes. I love the feel of SU's envies. I've never even thought that they could be a mismatch, and I'm pretty picky about those things.
