Default Supplier for envelopes?

Staples has stopped carrying the envelopes that I use, does anyone know a good supplier for envelopes?

I recently started getting my A2 envelopes from the local print shop here. I get 250 quality envelopes for about $17, whereas at Staples/Office Depot a box of 100 not-so great quality costs $11. In my case, a trip by the printer is just as convenient as a trip to Staples/Office Depot. Check your area for a print shop. If you don't need that many envies at one time, see about having some stamping friends share the cost and split them up.
Also found out the local printer is a GREAT resource for very heavy white card stock!

I've ordered several times from Anchor Paper. You can probably get them cheaper somewhere else, but their service is fabulous. Here's the link:

Default envelopes

I use clearbags.com...I think she is a member here and profits go to help support her card ministry....I get them in large amounts and share with friends...I think they are less than $2.00 for 50 I get the bone white ones..when I order I get 3,000 for 82.00 plus shipping which is not bad. I think this works out to less than .04 per. I get clear envelopes for the cards to so when I sell or store them, they are protected.

How is the quality of the envelopes? Will it hold heavy cardstock?

Default envelopes

I have been very happy with the quality of the envelopes..I use su card stock which is very thick, and with layers and embellishments and I have not had a problem at all. If you can't wait, and you have a store called ex pedex near you, they sell envelopes too about the same price maybe a touch more.

www.clearbags.com I order all my white and ivory envelopes here. It is the best price I have found. I always order 2000-3000 at a time. I can get 2000 delivered for less than $80.00. I figured that is like 3.7 cents per envelope. Very best price I have found. These are nice quality envelopes or I would not use them for the troops because they deserve the best I can afford to give them. Hope this helps..oh the white ones I get are #E120.
blessings.

WOW! That is a lot. I always go back to ordering more SU! WW Med envies. I can't be of any help on saving. LOL I do like to make my own envies as well and have not had any problems mailing them.

stampinmomnh....Anchor is a very good source as is the suggestion of a local print shop.

I get most of the ones I purchase from Xpedx. You can find many different kinds depending on the quality you want. They sell them by the pound.

You can also make your own from a 24# paper of your choice. I use silk, laid, or linen depending on the paper I use for the insert of my card. A printed/pattern paper can also be used for envelopes.

I just got an e-mail form Marco Paper. They also have a vast selection of envelopes that you might want to check out.

I've never ordered from them, but have purchased their products at stamp shows. I certainly like and have been happy with the quality of what I've purchased from them.

Which ones did you order for the ivory ones. I have looked every where on the site for the ivory ones but can't locate them! Thanks!
