While you can "get by" with other circle/slit punches, the ticket corner makes is sooooo easy. You don't have to worry about making the punches even, since it has the corner guides. For the price, you need this punch. I use mine often.
Exactly what JoAnn said.. I thought I could get by with my little circle punch.. I even made little marks underneath it with a Sharpie so I knew where to line up my paper. But that takes a lot of time, and often times my corners weren't all the same, even if I lined them up. I just got the ticket corner punch last month and I LOVE it. It makes it so fast now, and I don't have to think about it anymore. It's cheap too, so I say go for it.

Buy it...you'll NEVER regret it! I've worn mine out and will be buying another to get the crisp corners back! I've tried sharpening mine, etc...not worth the time, I'll just buy a new one!

What she said and did what she did!! Love it.... My favorite punch by far!!
I'll ditto what everyone else has said So yes, you can live without it, but why would you want to? Can you get the same effect with other punches, yes, but the ticket punch just makes it SO much easier. I use mine ALL the time.
I ordered mine and received it in late August. I absolutely LOVE it. Yesterday, however, it broke. Since it's the only SU punch I own, I am concerned that the punches are not of good quality. I am not "hard" on my toys, so I was really sad when it broke.

You should contact your demo regarding your punch. SU! will probably exchange it, but you don't know until you try. Good luck!

I find that I use it more than any other corner punch too! I love the look of layers that have all the corners punched, especially on a title or sentiment. For $5.95, it's definately worth it!
I didn't think I "needed" it either, but finally weakened and bought it. Now it is my favorite punch and never even gets put away with the other punches. It lives exclusively within my reach on the craft table. You won't regret buying it.
Love it to pieces! I'm actually on my second one. I really gave the first one a workout. One memorable project was 100 cards, with four layers punched on all four corners - so 1600 punches on one project. And I used it for lots more, too, so I'd say that one deserved to be replaced. It's a great little punch, and very inexpensive. Go for it!
I Have the slit punch and the SU ticket punch and I use them both. The slit used as a ticket corner punch leaves a bigger cut out that the ticket punch itself. I like mine and use it alot. I would say buy it!

Talk to your demo about a replacement. SU is usually very good about standing behind their products. I have never had problems with mine except for a bit of sticking not to long ago. A drop of oil took care of that!
Wow.. I had no intention of buying this but i tyhink you guys convinced me, LOL!
I didn't either for a long time but then I saw a project with it...I think ChiChi Allen...and I bought it. I LOVE it!!! You can also do a reverse scallop with it, kinda like the corner rounder. It looks like when you turn your scallop scissors upside down and you get the scallops backwards with the points at the top instead of the scallops. So the point is...it's a multi-functioning (is that a word??) too.
I added this punch to my order on a whim this morning to make up my stamp club requirement, I always like how it looks in samples but you guys really convinced me how great it is!!!

  Me too. I broke my first one (which I bought when it first came out) after making 3 layer invitations for 60. The punch had already seen a workout before I started that project, so I wasn't the least bit surprised when it died. I ordered my second one right away. I cant do without it. Its one of the simplest embellishments to add to a card and can really complete it.
