Default SU Texturz plates & Manhattan Die

Can anyone tell me if the SU texturz plates or Manhattan Die work in the Cuttlebug machine? If so, do I need to purchase anything separate to make them work. I do not have the Big Shot.

I'm pretty sure the Manhattan Flower will work, it's similar to the other Cuttlebug embossing folders. I'm not sure about the Texturz plates though. I don't have the measurements to know if they'll fit the width of the Cuttlebug. It's possible you might be able to use them if you sanded them down to fit (kinda like you can do with the extended cutting pads that are wider than the Cuttlebug) if the Texturz plates are too wide.

With a Big Shot and the Texturz plates, we use a silicone impression pad as well. It's very squishy and it's job is to push the paper into the impressions on the Texturz plate to create the embossing. The Texturz plates aren't like the embossing folders where you sandwich the paper in the middle, it's a bit different. I really like the Texturz though since you get two patterns per plate and each set has 3 plates or 6 patterns!

I have used the Manhattan Flower embossing folder in mine...easy as the Cuttlebug folders and the flowers are so beautiful. It seems like the texture plates work too but I cant remember if I tried it or not. Does it count that I have a whole bunch of them? Just dont use them...lol
blessings.

They both work in mine - had to play around with it a little bit to get the right sandwich for the textures plates. I also bought a silicon pad for this.

So... is the Manhattan flower impressions die like the CB embossing folder, or not? I don't know if I should also buy the texturz plates or the silicone texturz thing.

...hhhhmmmmm....

The basic construction of the folder and depth of the impression is exactly the same, but it seems that Sizzix makes their embossing folders a bit thicker so some folks have had difficulty fitting the Manhattan Flower through the Cuttlebug's rollers even when using the recommended sandwich.
