Default SU Stampin' Scrub pads

After what I think is minimal to moderate use only by me, the pads in my SU Stampin' Scrub no longer adhere to their black case. When cleaning the pads, I have held the case under running water, then blotted them and let them air dry. Now, they move all around when I'm cleaning a stamp and just flop right out of their case.

What adhesive can I use to get the pads to stay still in the case when I'm cleaning stamps? (Scor-Tape doesn't stick to the case or to the back of the pad.)

I haven't tried it myself, but perhaps hot glue or E6000.

My pads don't stay in one place, either, but I just use them that way with no issues.

I'd suggest Gorilla Glue All Purpose Adhesive. It's a dark brown liquid, so you know what you're looking for. I just searched Amazon.com for a link, but for some weird reason the prices on there are ludicrous. Should be available in places like Walmart/DIY stores, etc etc. What makes this so good is that you have to lightly mist with water to make it work, so it won't come apart when the pad is being washed. I used to to stick a Distress Ink pad back to the base, and it worked fine. I'd tried lots of other glues, but none worked, due to the wetness of the inkpad.

I have a really, really old Stampin' Scrub and my pads were made to come out. Very easy to clean that way. And they don't slide around........held in place by little tabs. I don't think I'd like it if they didn't come out of the case. Of course, if they slide around, that would be annoying. Maybe stick them in with a couple pieces of double sided tape and then take them out to clean them.

Maybe use Velcro dots?

My newest stamping' scrub is held together with super glue from the dollar store. The fabric peeled off the backing after just a few weeks. The glue has held through heavy use and many washes.

You could try Marine Goop, as it's made to be waterproof when dry.

When my pads came apart from the case, I placed one of the pads in a shallow container with Dawn and a little water for scrubbing stamps (especially the ones I use with acrylic paint) and left the other pad in the case for drying area.
