So far, I have used mine directly on the stamps, and for some embellishing. To apply it to the stamps, I used a paint brush. It has a thin consistency, so I felt a paint brush was the best idea, because if you get to much on the brush, you can easy scrape the brush on the inside edge of the paint jar. I have some cards posted using the paint on my blog; here is a link:
You Tube has several tutorials:
Here is one link to make shimmer spray (haven't tried it but it would be great to make any color CS shimmery): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVK29Bzp5UE
On another blog, they sponged the shimmer paint on raised portions after an EF was used.

Teresa, you don't have to mix it...you can use it directly from the bottle, but the mixing and spraying is just an alternative option.

Here is my first attempt at using the Shimmerz, it really does go on heavy, the less you put on the better. I luv the look so very much, I am sure I will mix it...I like it that much...it is sooooo shimmery!
