Has anyone ordered/seen the new punches that Joann.com and Overstock.com are featuring? They look suscpiously like the SU! scallop punches. They also have the SU! signature black casing. The prices are pretty good since overstock only charges $2.95 for shipping and Joann's you can get shipping free (and their punches are on sale right now). Just wondering if anybody had picked these up.

The punches are actually made by EK Success, I just don't think they sell the "special" punches like the photo corners, star, key tag, etc...

I have one of the EK Success 2" scallop punches and it is wonderful. The SU scallop is 1 3/4" and that size is exclusive to SU. I believe you can buy the 2", 1 1/2" and maybe even a 1 1/4" scallop elsewhere. These punches all have 14 scallops like the SU punch and layer very nicely.
FYI, the 2" scallop layers nicely with a 1 3/4" circle when used with the JustRite monogram stamps.
I bought the 1 1/2" scallop square a couple of months ago and when I match it up with the scallop square in the new catty, mine appears to be about 1/16" bigger all the way around.
I'm a big fan of EK Success punches. I've been a punch collector for about 10 years and EK's design is by far my favorite. They are easy to punch and you can easily flip them over to see just exactly where you are punching. I need to get going on an order from the new catty and get the curly label, the new oval, and the scallop square punches. What can I say--I'm obsessed :-)

Thank you for sharing this information ~ I have been wondering about this punch specifically, and Joann's has it on sale right now for $9.79, plus free shipping w/$35. purchase! I don't think 1/16" difference is that big of a deal. Thanks again!

The oval punches shown at OSC are not the same sizes of SU punches and are orientated differently. I believe the differences in the other punches have already been addressed.
