Have one, but I find that it is difficult to get a spray of spots using it. I may not be doing something correctly, but it doesn't seem easy to use or produce a very good result for me.

Did you use it with SU markers? Does that make a difference?
have it, use it. Not all the time but enough that I'm glad I have it. I do use SU markers. What I figured out was how far in the holder you put the marker makes a difference in how much color you get. Putting just the time of the marker in front of the blowy part makes small specks of color and putting the marker in further so the middle of the marker tip is in front of it makes bigger spatters.
You can't squeeze gently or it won't work. Quick, firm squeeze. A little firmer/quicker than when they take your blood pressure at the dr. You want a quick, short burst of pressure.
Experiement with it and to see what size spatter you want. Depending how far you place the SU marker in the holder, how far from the paper and the pressure on the squeeze ball.

I thought about it - I like the look of the card spritzed with color but then I noticed similar paper in my craft store, for much less.
I see that the only benefit to the spritzer is that you get to control where, how much and the color.
however, I decided that it wasn't really what I would use the majority of the time and that it would be a better investment to use the money towards something that I would use more often.
Just the process I went through to make up my mind.

I am debating between buying this or the Itty Bitty backgrounds that product a spray type ink effect. I wish there was a stamp pen or sponge that was like this that we could control better. Hmmm maybe we could make one ourselves?
IMHO, I have the Bitty BG and the Spritzer tool and I find the ST more useful for the looks that I want. Since you can spritz before and after stamping and coloring the image.

I love Amy's tutorial on how to use this tool and enjoy using it myself, though I find I don;t reach for it as often as I could. I like it becasue it's the tool to use to "cover up a multitude of sins" like accidental smudges next to your image.
I like a distressed, texturized, look - this tool delivers for me.
If you prefer perfect, pristine, clean cards - I don't think you would use it much... but for any distressed or aged or texturized look... its wonderful.

I purchased when it was in the catty years ago... I use it all the time instead if itty bitty backgrounds...it does a more random spritz than the background stamp. Here a sample of when I used it..
I had to get it after I went to regionals and saw a demonstration using it and an aquapainter filled with bleach... I have used it on some cards I made at church but don't have pictures of them... I love this tool.
Oh my goodness - - I LOVE LOVE LOVE that tool!!! I go crazy using it. I especially like to use it on the envelope with the same colors I used on my card. I just spritz around the edges on the front (easy to leave a blank area in the middle for the address so that the PO machines can scan the address) and ususally all over the back. It's such a quick/simple thing but I love the way it makes the entire card/envl tie together.
My first workshop, the SU demonstrator used it and all of us bought one. I don't know if I have used it with other markers but I think with the screw to adjust the hold, unless the marker is super fat, it should work with other markers. The key is to get the brush tip positioned at the right spot, but that's fairly easy to adjust forward or back a little if you're getting too much/not enough splatter.
If you plan to do a lot of cards all at once (like for a swap) it will work your arm muscles (you can say you get exercise using it too :lol.
Love it! I only got mine last month. I went to a workshop my friend hosted and tried it out for the first time and I love it! It's great when you think a background needs a little something, but you're not sure what. It gives it just enough.
