I love the basic gray ink - I use it all the time. It's a softer look than black. I was using chocolate chip all the time for sentiments; now I use them the gray more often than not.
I love, love, love the paper and the ink is very cool as well. Great for stamping when you don't want a dark black, but don't want to use brown when coloring with markers or blender pens.
I don't have either and have been debating. I got a couple sheets of the paper from my Demo and did purchase the taffeta ribbon. The ribbon is real yummy. Yesterday I tried the ribbon and paper for LSC and was pleased with out it came out. I'm not sure I would use the paper or ink all that often though, still on the fence. Here's a link to the card if that will help you decide.

I was an immediate fan after making my first card with it. I will order the ink on my next order. Here is the card to show you how great it looks with colors such as Old Olive and Real Red. I think it will look good with almost any color.
I ordered the pink pad as soon as it was available because I love it as an option to the Basic Black when I don't want such a bold contrast, but didn;t order the paper.
Yesterday I was at the SU seminar in Louisville and used the Basic Gray cardstock for several projects and I fell in love. It is a great shade, definately darker than Going Grey but not as dark as Basic Black. Best I can describe it is as a deep smoky color with s just a hint of some purple in it. BTW, it looks great with Purely Pomegranite and Soft Sky.
Yes, Yes, Yes ! It's a beautiful charcoal color. I'm currently working on a card with the basic gray and the charbon dp. and the taffeta ribbon. very elegant.
Somewhere, a little while back I recall seeing the RGB code for SU! Basic Grey. Now I can't find it for the life of me. Did anyone save it? Thanks for any help you can give.
