Is there a trick to making an embossed rectangle on the actual card and keeping it straight? I have a cuttlebug and got the nesties to emboss that rectangle shape but I want to do it on the base card instead of a piece that is glued on.
I was thinking repositionable snail, or rubber cement or double sided tape etc etc. with a chipboard guide to get it centered ......
BUT
I know that someone here has already figured it out!!!!

I use a thin magnetic sheet (cut from a vent cover from Menards) and saw a fantastic video on Gina K's Stamptv. Actually I saw A LOT of great how-to videos on there!

I have a magnetic sheet and while it holds well, its not always perfect. (With that much pressure, how could it be? )
I use low-tack painters tape to help hold my Nesties in place. I also put it on my pants a few times, to help further reduce the stickiness.
Hope that helps!

I use the tape too --didn't think about sticking it on my pants though -- EXCELLENT idea -- thanks for the tip!
I have the lavender colored painter's tape and it is less tacky than the blue painters tape. I still stick it to my pants a couple of times. Has just enough tackiness to hold in place.

One day I was out of the low-tack tape and I used the sticky part from a post-it note. That worked pretty good, too. Re positionable tape is great for that kinda of thing!
